Asura's a better Dragon Ball artist than many official Dragon Ball artists. And have you seen already the preview images for the upcoming chapter with Cell vs Tapion? http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/imgs/promos/ch49-cell-s.png http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/imgs/promos/ch49-tapion-s.png

Not 100% matches but very close nonetheless are: Factoria and (so fittingly named) Special Forces . Check the examples below: The "Resurrection" part of the original logo: http://i.imgur.com/PfvOaTF.png Factoria: http://i.imgur.com/W5jqHWN.png Special Forces: http://i.imgur.com/UH7RaN8.png

The GT animanga can count as a kind of follow-up since it begins at the Evil Dragons saga.OkamiTakahashi wrote:It would be nice if someone could finish it up since it ends at the Baby Saga.

Re: Recycling material
If the show was done the same way it exists now, I imagine it would be more expensive for them to replicate the movies exact look even with the assets at hand. That's turning my point on its head :) I don't care whether they replicate the exact look or not. I was wondering if they could simply take...

Recycling material
It is something I have been wondering about since the beginning of Super and I still haven't seen it really discussed in depth (or actually discussed at all): recycling/reusing material. And I'm not talking about rehashing the same story - we all know that DBS is a retelling of BoG and will also inc...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Both DBM's retellings of DBZ Movie 5 and Movie 10 where better then the ones we got. I would love to see DBM try to retell the other movies, but that won't happen. Movie 13 still has some chance: [quote="What movies/OAV/TV Special are "DBM Canon"?"] Dragon Ball -not-Z movies did...

Ah, ok - cause the quote by Xeztin reffered to my question about those two fragments so you introduced quite a confusion theresangofe wrote: I talked about the movies.

Re: Dragon Ball Z: Movie Fan-Manga Collection
However I do not know of them existing in Manga form, I would like them myself. I know they exist in animanga and those have been released in France. Garlic Junior Saga was released as animanga? I have just browsed Glenat's site and while the Other World Tournament is there as planned for publicati...

Re: Refering to the Japanese version as a "dub"
All 3 definitions support the notion that the Japanese original is not a dub. They didn't add any sound effects or new dialogue to the show, the show already had it. It's an original score, not a new one. There was nothing before, so saying it's new implies there was something made before that was ...

Re: Refering to the Japanese version as a "dub"
For me at least, it's just... the show. No further distinction necessary. Of course, I'm coming from a viewpoint and a mission statement of Kanzenshuu where everything's inherently about the original version of the franchise, and so it's only necessary to make a distinction when there's actually on...

Re: Refering to the Japanese version as a "dub"
Let's put it this way, would you call the original English Disney version of Frozen a dub? Would adding the word "dub" add less or more confusion? Well, yes, of course, I would (at least until I read this thread because now I would be at a loss there) and without any malicious intent - si...

Re: Refering to the Japanese version as a "dub"
For me, one of the big issues is that nobody really calls the original audio for any TV series or movie a "dub." That term is typically only used for foreign language replacement audio. It's especially true for anime, where both the official English companies and the fandom tend to use &q...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
Can we get those images in spoilers so it doesnt slow down the loading of the page? While I'm also all-pro-spoilering-images, I have to clarify something: putting images in spoiler tags doesn't change anything when it comes to the speed with which a page is loading. The images are downloaded anyway...

Re: Dragon Ball Z: Movie Fan-Manga Collection
Dragon Ball Z: Movie Fan-Manga 1 Dead Zone Thanks a lot! By the way, I wonder whether the admins won't be interested in getting it in paper format (it's after all the Dead Zone movie :) ). And another question: do you also have/know of manga renditions of anime-exclusive fragments (Garlick Jr, Othe...
