Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
It's actually much more likely that Moro's similarities with Sealas are deliberate, rather than any similarities with Cell. It would make much more sense too, given that Sealas is the first time Toyotaro was tasked with making a main villain for a Dragon Ball game. The similarities become much more ...

Re: Is there any reason why the Moro arc hasn't gotten any merchandise yet?
I might be wrong but I think that manga-only content is not merchandised. For example, I don't think there's any merchandise of Super Saiyan Goku Black (correct me if I'm wrong), as that form appears only in the manga. So the answer is probably just "they are waiting for the anime to cover the...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
It's also worth noting that a great deal of narrative effort has been expended on pointing out that becoming strong and fighting isn't what a Kaioshin is supposed to do. Universe 7's Dai Kaioshin may be a naturally-occurring outlier until he uses most of his power in containing Moro, but his power ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So how comes only U7 had a Kaioshin this powerful (Dai Kaioshin at 100% power) It's weird how other universes just have Shin-tier Kaioshins. To be fair, we only know how strong Zamasu/Gowasu were as far as other universe-kaioshins go, though Zamasu was suggested to be among the more powerful ones. ...

https://i.imgur.com/SGVz0Cs.jpg https://i.imgur.com/IrYWpb6.jpg Toyo can dick around the powers however he likes, but the anime makes it pretty clear: Jiren eats Hakaishin for breakfast and that's before even going full power and breaking his limits. Anime-only content has zero relevance. It's a co...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I was being sarcastic. The manga is full of them lol. I know. I humored a genuine response because criticizing the manga over a (minor, potentially even explainable) inconsistency feels relatively pointless when discussing Dragon Ball Super (or heck, just Dragon Ball) in general. The anime has a to...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Well either that or the Moro back-up was a unique case. Everything else certainly seems to just be a copying of abilities. I wouldn't be surprised if the Moro back-up was a unique instance of something Seven-Three can do.

It's kind of telling that the thread itself was made by someone who got banned for being toxic, and then made an alternate account in order to try and bypass said ban.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
73 copies power as well. It's somewhat inconsistent. Besides Moro backing himself up in Seven-Three it seems like only the abilities are copied. Seven-Three's increase in strength when copying Gohan can potentially be argued as him copying "Potential Unleashed". Well in the end I don't th...

It could very well happen if we get a Season 4 depending on if the Moro arc being adapted to the anime is announced in December or somethingSuper Saiyan Turlast x4 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 4:47 pm I wouldn't mind seeing Moro in, but I know that's definitely not happening.
Maybe for a sequel.

Also, I don't remember him using hakai on that rock. Do you have a statement for that? Because I have seen many people point out that it might have just been a simple ki blast. Plus, as shown vs. Fused Zamasu, Goku needed to focus a lot to pull off an hakai, so why would he use it on a simple rock?...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
But that's what I'm saying. Beerus is the only one on Earth at the time who happens to have a unique ability that quickly erases anyone from existence. He simply has a superior technique, it doesn't mean he's stronger. It's not even a case of Goku not wanting to kill Moro, because at this point he ...

I especially got that impression after re-reading all the material from the BoG prologue to the US arc. I'd even go so far as to claim that the 6-10-15 scale Toriyama talked about for the film might still very much be intact for the manga specifically. I really wish folks wouldn't assign amplificat...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Beerus is a moving goal post. However you interpret Beerus' strength, I don't think that's necessarily true at all. In the previous arc's exhibition match, Goku was in complete awe of the Hakaishin and their power. Vegeta's then-completed Blue was strong enough to force Beerus to get serious, but w...

Broly, Vegito and Gogeta confirmed > MUI, Jiren and Moro Beerus says he can quickly take out Moro, problem solved. Beerus' statement is ambiguous, it's possible he simply knew that breaking the gem would solve things where Goku did not, which may not inherently be a matter of Beerus' strength in co...

All of the allusions to the evens of the Broly movie (the summary panels in Chapter 42, the interstitial in Volume 9, and that backup feature), are essentially just there to imply/remind you that the events of the movie happened, in generally the same terms, lest anyone think it's totally separate ...

There is some indication in the manga that Elder Kai may still be officially a Supreme Kai. Beerus was killed in Trunks' timeline beca...
