Re: Dragonball game crossovers you'd like to see
Yeah, but they should probably increase the series roster in those games to include at least one more title.(Which would probably be Bleach, which I am totally fine with).

Re: Dragon Ball Online News
Yay! Upa's descendants and apparently the reincarnation of Pocawatha( The girl Oolong likes. Pocawatha may be her dub name as I have only seen that particular episode dubbed).

Re: Soundtrack in future games
I'd like the previously stated Cha-la head Cha-la and We Gotta Power as well as Mezase Tenkaichi, Dan Dan, and all of the previous video game themes. Especially Kiseki(The one from Burst limit) and Power of Dreamer. Also, a full version of Orange Hero.

Re: How do you think Cooler came to resent Frieza so much
I always thought that, as the younger child, Freeza got more in the way of attention from others while Coola was expected to fend for himself. Perhaps the responsibility of the older sibling got to Coola, causing him to resent the ungrateful brat who was always taking what was rightfully his.

Re: When did the Broly fandom overdrive begin?
Broly is the sole character that constantly reminds me of that Dragonball is a Shônen manga and also of what the mean age of the Dragonball fans are. 'Nuff said, What about Goku, Roshi, Vegeta, All of Freeza's minions, etc., etc.? I think Toriyama constantly makes it clear that "You're reading...

Re: Dragon Ball: Introduction into manga/anime?
Those monthlies are awesome. I started collecting after the viz tankobon were already mostly out. However, they were my first real exposure to Freeza-sama, and for that I have been collecting them for years. Endless.....tiring.....long....fruitless...years. Seriously, why are those things so fucking...

Re: Most emotional scene in Dragon Ball
I have a three way tie. The first is probably Tenshinhan's death in the anime. It's what first got me really interested in Dragonball. Other than that, I always have to bring a hanky when I watch Kuririn's death in the Piccolo Daimao arc or the end of GT. The end of Z is also extremely emotional for...

Re: Hermits' immortality
But why are they sennin? Because they drunk the Immortality Elixir? No. Like Roshi said, there's no such thing as an immortality elixir. A Sennin is someone who's basically transcended mortality with physical and mental training. The old master guy who can seemingly perform miracles, like speaking ...

Re: What other manga took inspiration from Dragon Ball?
Now, when you say "inspiration," do you mean the author has explicitly stated he/she likes DB, or if there is some kind of reference/similarity to DB, or both? Because Dragon Ball is freaking legendary over thar in Japan. Tons of people, mangaka or not, hold some sort of love for it. But,...

Re: Is the DBZ fighting game franchise a dying breed?
Well, if that happened, I'd want a new anime or manga. Well, a new anime anyway, with maybe a few manga oneshots to go along with it occasionally. That way, Toriyama can blow through the story in a few weeks and then let the Toei guys take it from there. He wouldn't have to draw a damn thing he did...

Definitely the DBZ TCG game. The first LoG comes close though. I played Sagas, and I actually kind of liked it. Is.... Is there something wrong with me?

Re: Character roster in DBZ fighting games
I agree with Rocketman. If anything, Sparking! Meteor is guilty of not having enough characters for it's game type. They should lose all fighting game pretenses and just dump in SP(Super Pig) Oolong, Garlic Jr.'s minions, Enma, and 5 versions of Ranfuan. As for the regular fighting games, I think th...

Re: Who has lost interest in Kai?
I like Kai, but I'm not exactly a faithful watcher. I have all the episodes to date on my computer, but I don't watch one a week. I basically just pull one out if I'm bored, and even then I mainly watch the series where it desperately needed to be changed or if it covers one of my favorite parts. It...

Re: Mr. Satan - A Good Idea?
I think that Mr.Satan is there to be a measuring tool in order to compare to constantly remind the reader of exactly how much stronger Goku and the others are. He's kind of the Battle Strength of the Cell and Boo arcs.

Re: Is the DBZ fighting game franchise a dying breed?
If you're talking about it overlord, I would like to see Gundam vs Macross I don't know a lot about Macross, but I do have a few friends in real life who like it. In any case, I'd love to see the good old RX-78 busting some robot ass any day of the week. I haven't played all that many gundam games,...

Re: Odd Viz line?
As a Ginyu fan, I always chose to believe that it was because Ginyu had cleaner chi than Freeza, Zarbon, etc. due to not commiting as many murders, and therefore did not deserve to die. However, I think that Rocketman's explanation holds up the best when exposed to Occam's razor.

Re: Dragon Ball: Introduction into manga/anime?
As Dragonball was not my first manga or anime(those honors belong to the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA and Beet the Vandel Buster respectively), I don't have that kind of nostalgia for the series. I was into Pokemon and Yugioh around that same time, like every 6-11 year old, but I refused to believe that e...

Re: Screw the Rules!!
The Trunks one was good, but could've been better if you dropped the badass line. "Screw the rules, I have fangirls!" alone would've worked better in my opinion.
King Cold's one was both funny and awesome.

Re: Dragon Ball Ranking
One Piece ... is basically a copy and past of Dragonball. How much have you read or watched... of EITHER series? Aside from (intentionally)similar MCs and Japan slurping up everything related to them, they are vastly different. Really, the repeated lame adventures ala early Dragonball. Impel down w...
