Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
How exactly? Base Gotenks being weaker than the SSJ kids would make absolutely no sense from the way it was presented. SS Gotenks is weaker than SS2 Vegeta and I doubt he grew multiple times stronger training in the RoSaT for a week. Okay you're just making comments you're not actually making an ar...

All of your responses specifically addressed him. If you lumped me in there then it didnt matter because you didnt address my arguments.

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Based on everything that I've seen: Base Vegito >> Ssj3 Goku (buu arc) Base Gotenks >> Ssj goten/trunks Base Vegito >> ssb goku/vegeta (manga ft arc, probably anime too but he never fought) Base kefla >> controlled ssj kale Base Gogeta >> ssb goku/vegeta (movie) Its likely that fusion is always goi...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
You are right. It doesn't change the meaning of subjective. However, Toriyama isn't giving his feelings from a fan point. But insight and knowledge from his title as Creator. Which isn't merely an opinion but outright fact on how his DB universe is suppose to look. So....his opinion is a fact then?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So it's my fault that you have this apparent tendency to convey this extremely condescending demeanor? You have claimed more or less that your opinion is an objective fact on several occasions now and quite literally have said that anyone who disagrees does not understand art. That doesn't really ha...

Re: Can it be argued that episodes 107-118 are our best stretch of episodes in Super so far?
Episodes 107-118 featured so many cool, notable, and amazing moments within the tournament and the series itself, and I found none of those episodes disappointing or irritating to me in the slightest. Sure, not every single episode within that batch was super exciting, but each week waiting for the...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
2. If SSKBBx20 Goku in ep.123 was still only as strong as he was in the hour special, he would have been flicked and glared away like fodder, as did throughout ep.109. You're just trying to arbitrarily quantify "did better" as though it actually means anything in any sort of objective sen...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
any criticisms in terms of narrative structure or the overall end product of various teams working together being conclusively mediocre are dismissed because I don't seem to understand "art". "It's all subjective!" "You can't criticize art!" etc. But to just throw away...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I don't see anything that makes Moro somehow more threatening or the stakes any higher than before, especially given that we already know what his power is, he's already fallen into basic DB villain trappings, has no personality to speak of, and hasn't accomplished anything particularly impressive ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Btw, anyone here thinks that FT arc vegito blue may be in brolys league? They were both stated to probably surpass beerus. Or does he get easily stomped. In the anime no such comment exists. Even in the manga Kaioshin did not say "hes probably stronger than Beerus" he just acknowledged it...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Finally, some goddamn tension and weight to an arc/fight. You mean it wasn't enough when losing the tournament meant your entire Universe being erased? Fighting for the existence of your universe wasn't enough tension for you, or what? You can have whatever imaginary stakes you'd like, but if you d...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Well, since Vegetto = Gogeta, SS Gogeta finger flicks. You'd believed a preview guide that wasn't made with Toei, Toriyama or even Toyotaro's input? The original manga itself has Potara>Finger Fusion, so Vegito doesn't equal Gogeta. Also, if even Kefla was much stronger than 1st 2 Omens Goku (to th...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I'm starting to think that magazine quote from Beerus actually meant MUI and not Omen. Surely if MUI surpassed Beerus it would have been stated. It doesn't matter at all. The quote was literally supposed to be quoting Beerus in the episode, but Beerus never actually said it in the episode itself. S...

Re: When did you start liking Vegeta?
I've pretty much always liked Vegeta from the very beginning of my knowledge of the character's existence. However, I find his character arc in the Buu arc to be grossly overrated and it left a sour taste in my mouth by the time of the end of the original run of the series. I didn't start actually l...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
But you didn't take into account Piccolo's power that he gained from the off-screen training with Gohan. We can’t know how much stronger he got, and I doubt he got much stronger in a day. Piccolo also has Mafuba and object materialization and we know that Mafuba is practically haxx'd in Super even ...

Re: Best Ways to Enjoy DBS (from a 20 year DB fan who nearly left the show)
I don't find any of this to be necessary, I just watch/read it the way I would any other Dragon Ball material. But whatever works for you, man. Frankly at this point I find it completely hilarious how immensely exaggerated the power scaling issues are, it's just insanity. It's really not much worse ...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
TOP Piccolo vs super perfect cell TOP Piccolo vs Fat Buu (before becoming good and separating the evil in him) If we go by the anime Piccolo would beat Cell but lose to Buu imo. He beat ssj2 Gohan, who should have at least been around buu saga ssj tiers, who are solidly above Cell, but Buu should a...
