Re: Anyone interested in discussing the social issues of DB?
It is unfortunate but I think it is a result of Toriyama's writing style as well as picking up a story after 30 years of absence. It isn't the first time one of Toriyama's characters lost some of their personality and became more of background decoration than an agent in the current story. Take Yam...

Re: One character you would like to return
I'd like to see Launch again, and see what 16 and 17 have been up to. 17 only had a cameo, and 16 hasn't been seen again at all.
Seeing Grandpa Gohan again would also be cool. Perhaps Goku could go visit him in the Other World. I'm sure he's already done so, during his 7 years being dead.

Re: Anyone interested in discussing the social issues of DB?
I think I've actually made a thread talking about this kind of stuff before, ABED , so it totally flies here, and I wouldn't want to be part of a community where it couldn't. Anyway, I think Dragon Ball pre-2013 managed by and large to be quite good with its female characters. They're strong, idios...

Re: Most Annoying Bulma Moments
She was really nasty in the early parts of the Namek arc, before they leave and during the journey. And all of her filler scenes on Namek were rather boring and annoying.

Re: Which translations do you prefer for characters' names?
Mostly the english translations, though I prefer Zeno to 'omniking' in regards to that character. Probably because I watched it subbed first unlike DB/Z which I saw in english dub.

Re: Which saga/series/special/movie has your favorite art?
I'd say the Buu Saga myself. I think it had the most consistent art in the anime, the characters were rarely off model, everything looked sharp and polished.

Re: Do you think the end of Z will be re-written/retconned?
I hope so. I'm not a fan of the original Z ending. Goku abandoning his family to go train some new character the audience has no investment in just seemed awful.

Re: Can Goku beat Beerus now?
I just wish the series had refrained from using all the percents that Beerus has stated, that way we wouldn't get plotholes like this
I'm not a huge stickler for plotholes but it does bother me a bit

Re: Should the supporting cast be more useful again?
Yeah, I'd like to see some of the more powerful Z fighters learn to keep their ki inside and become at least powerful enough to be useful in major fights again. Characters like Krillin, Tien, 18, and Piccolo at the very least should learn the kind of ki control Goku and Vegeta have. Piccolo and 18 w...

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
BoG - 70%, it was slow at times but the titular fight was great and surpassed the movie. A suitable starting point for the revival of Dragon Ball RoF - 50%, a pretty weak arc with not much point or story, and the animation was really bad at times. The movie did it better for the most part. Champa - ...
