Re: How much would you pay for any of these sets?
If Viz kept releasing them for $12/£10 I'd keep buying them but seems as though they're canned.

Re: MangaUK Licenses Dragon Ball Z Kai for DVD & Blu-ray
The least Manga UK could do to incentive customers to pre-order it would be to include slipcovers on every Blu-ray and DVD of it, while the later prints are without, but honestly knowing Manga UK it's probably not gonna happen.
I was hoping they'd do this for the Yellow Bricks but they didn't.

Re: Rock the Dragon Edition - Prices increased?
The set includes the "Ocean Dub" episodes 1-53 as well as the movies 1-3 so it's the complete package, plus not only that but you also get an awesome book with tons of great artwork and information. It's a pretty sweet collectible for the fans. One thing I absolutely hate about is is how t...

Re: Does anyone actually like Dragon Ball Evolution?
It wasn't Dragon Ball. They took Goku and tried to turn him into Peter Parker. Bullied at school, socially awkward then realises he's destined for greater things etc, Chi Chi being the Mary Jane of the story. I was just waiting for Grandpa Gohan to say "Goku, with great power.... comes great r...

Rock the Dragon Edition - Prices increased?
Was looking on eBay and came across 5 copies of RtDE which were sold for £99.99 in dollars that's $155 but on the US side it's still available for a bit less so what's the point of buying at higher prices like these? This US seller has it for $95 (£61.59) so for someone importing from UK in total th...

Re: Which countries have home releases of Kai and BOG?
They announced it but it's yet to be released so it's a bit of false advertisement to put with the others without a sign, such as, "Yet to be released" or so.kei17 wrote:Kai:

Re: Kazé Anime Licenses Dragon Ball Z Kai in Germany
Good to see it's being dubbed in more European countries, now if only they could get Selecta Visión or whomever's in charge of the Castillan dub then that'd be great (would love to watch Kai 2.0 all in Spanish).

Saw Part 4 on DVD at eBay for a reasonable price but the Blu-ray? I suspect to cost the double.

Re: Does anyone actually like Dragon Ball Evolution?
I do. It's not necessarily what you'd expect from a Dragon Ball live action film, but as a movie itself, it's quite entertaining and comedic at times plus you have the Shameless couple or should I say, ex-Shameless couple. The one thing I wanted more out of was the final battle of Goku Vs. Pic...

Re: How much would you pay for any of these sets?
Dragon Ball / Dragon Ball Z / Dragon Ball GT - Properly remastered in HD on Blu-ray. Now as for the prices I'd be willing to pay £40 ($62) per each box (like All the Anime does with their Collector's Edition releases). DB - 3 Boxes (£120) DBZ - 5 Boxes (£200) DBGT - 2 Boxes (£80) Movies - 1 Box (£4...

Re: Dragon Ball Franchise on Kix (UK Channel)
Considering I'm in my 20s, I guess I just have a very low tolerance for when blood gets edited out, especially as blatantly as it was when I watched DBZ Kai on Kix. But hey, you're right, it could be much worse. That's not something you'd have to worry since Kai is already censored even by the uncu...

Re: Saiyan being spelt as Saiyan
Why does everyone dislike the way FUNimation pronounces it in their dubs? It fits better than Saiya-jin which is too Japanese and from another thread the "-jin" isn't even part of the name. It's supposedly meaning person and isn't unique to the name Saiyan. Cyan just sounds dumb. I think ...

This. For $210 I'd expect to have it already all done and digital? Not sure I'd ever spend this much of money on something that I can't hold.$210 then I'd have to edit? Don't want it that bad.

Re: Saiyan being spelt as Saiyan
The "Latin Spanish" dub uses "Super Saiyajins" / "Super Saiyayins" (they use it interchangeably) , as well as "Pikoro", "Bejita" and "Kamisama".. These are just things they went overboard with for a dub. It's a dub after all so they shouldn...

Re: The Part home releases and Ÿamamoto score.
Part 4 on DVD can still be acquired for an OK price but if you're planning on getting them on Blu-ray you'll certainly have to spend more unless you're patient and wait for deals to pop up. The Dragon Ball Z Level 1.1 and 1.2 Blu-rays are at affordable prices too and they're worth getting to see Dra...

Re: Saiyan being spelt as Saiyan
They should've went with Super Saiyans (the Castellano and French dub have it as such) as saying "Bejita" and "Saiyajin" just sounds too close to the original version and it doesn't need nor it should be.

Re: Saiyan being spelt as Saiyan
I kinda forgot about the weird pronounciation of the word Saiyan as I watch/listen to Dragon Ball (BoG + Kai) in Japanese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese all of which say it properly (although the Mexican and Brazilian dubs go as far as saying Super Saiyajins or Saiyayins). I do wish FUNimation wo...

Also, it's just sort of the way Japanese businesses conduct themselves when a scandal occurs: Remove all traces of association with the scandal. The Pikachu short from Pokemon movie 3 didn't even show up on the Japanese Blu-ray movie set because the woman who narrated it and sang the ED was arreste...

Re: HD Dragon Ball (part 1) footage exists?
Here's hoping Toei announces a new Dragon Ball Blu-ray release. It probably won't happen but I'd much rather have one from them than another wide-appeal, DNR'd to hell, cropped DBZ release. I meant, FUNimation has the Dragon Ball movies 1-4 remastered in HD, possibly the Z movies too and Kai 2.0 al...

Re: HD Dragon Ball (part 1) footage exists?
As clutchins stated, there's no official releases of the original DB in HD. When it comes to the TV series, I think my own transfer of episode 58 is the only HD footage in the world so far. http://i.imgur.com/5pno2W9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NZw5Gwt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ewNgQyS.jpg http://i.imgur.c...
