Re: Would Goten/Trunks/Gotenks Have Been U7 Team Members If They Had God Ki?
I can see Vegeta, Bulma, and Chichi still finding a way to prevent them from participating. Why though? Killing isn't allowed, and if U7 loses they would be erased anyway. An unwillingness to expose their children to that kind of dire struggle while focusing on their studies instead? I don't know. ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The speculation behind a possible "vegeta movie" is because back in 2014 toriyama said he was considering one with him as the lead (obviously we got F the year later but it could be in his mind still) + horikawa being more active on twitter and excited so MAYBE it leads to that although it...

Re: Would Goten/Trunks/Gotenks Have Been U7 Team Members If They Had God Ki?
Supposing Goten & Trunks obtained SSJG and/or SSJB right after the debacle with Zamasu came to a close, would Goku & Vegeta have allowed their sons to participate in the ToP with their vastly superior strength? They'd obviously still be childish and probably not have any new, significant te...

Rumor related question about Nozawa
I remember a mod on the /r/dbz discord mentioning that back around 2011 or so, toei was trying to or planning on replacing Nozawa. Has anyone else heard this or know anything?

Toriyama in one of his early interview with Toyotaro (before GB arc I believe) said that he'd be open to letting Toyotaro take over more and more of the story duties.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Cause he didn’t check the scripts can you not read? Toriyama verifies every script Toyotaro does, this was revealed in another interview months ago. I know you don’t like the manga but don’t make stupid points to pretend like it’s filler while the Toei Philippines anime is canon. Verifying doesn't ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
“I’m gonna find out the same time as the viewer” whereas even ssg Vegeta was approved by Toriyama in the manga. You can stretch your nonsensical points to pretend like this arc is filler but 3 separate interviews have told us Toriyama had involvement with this arc. As far as Toyo doing designs, he d...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
If this arc is considered filler because of minimal Toriyama involvement then the anime version of the zamasu arc is filler as well right? Since Toriyama himself said he hadn’t seen the final scripts for that and would find out what happened just like the fans would. Or does that only apply to the m...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Stampede was by most accounts even better animated than Broly was and One Piece had an ongoing anime while Toei was making the movie so why can't they do the same for their biggest moneymaker?

"Zenkais" are no long necessary because in modern db, toriyama has saiyans grow mid battle which is even better than having to get beaten to near death and recover fully

Re: Hit vs Dyspo was the most strategic fight in the series?
I'd say so although wonder why Dyspo didn't use his SLSM to try and counter  Most of the fighters in the ToP seemed to be saving their ultimate techniques for the very end, and only using them if they were absolutely necessary. Which does make sense, as you don't want to reveal your trump ca...

Re: Hit vs Dyspo was the most strategic fight in the series?
I'd say so although wonder why Dyspo didn't use his SLSM to try and counter  many people outside or not in the series would say that the DB fights are always decided by whom the opponents have the larger energy ball. Toriyama himself said as much when he said the one with more ki wins the fight
