Re: Old Magazine Scans
If I remember correctly Super Play (Super NES) magazine also reviewed Dragonball Z games as import exclusives & used non dub names as well. This again was pre Funi era.

That's also how I got mine. For completion sake though make sure it has the extras that come with it. They're only cards & a little plastic wallet type thing, but if you're going to go to all of that trouble you may as well make sure you get everything it came with.

Re: Episode of Bardock: Giant On-Going Manga + Anime Discuss
Well that's my pre order done. I'm glad it's not a mail away like "Yo! Son Goku & his Friends Return". I had to hunt on Japan Yahoo Auctions to get my copy of that. I do wonder if it will be in a proper DVD case or a simple plastic sleeve...

Re: Alternative Budokai 3 Cover
Funny, I saw that cover at an EB Games the other day & thought it was a bit strange as I'd never seen it before. Maybe it was a European/Australian situation whereby Euro games are released in Australian stores or vice versa maybe?

Re: Your Dragonball Z out of print and hard to find Thread
And here's a comparison of Madman Vs. Pioneer DVD's http://dbzoceandubcomparison.webs.com/index.htm I was more talking about the packaging, which apart from Madman needing to number everything & the AU rating logo is almost identical. Interesting comparison otherwise though. I suppose this coul...

They're identical save for the poor PAL conversion & Madman logo on them.DanielGClapp wrote:Could you post pics of those? Re: Mistake in original Japanese version?
Poor Shin-chan, his show got rewritten completely by FUNimation. :? No, see that's a different issue altogether. Shin Chan isn't supposed to be a straight dub. It's SUPPOSED to be a Pizza Cats style complete rewrite & they make no effort to hide that fact in the show. A lot of the humour in Cra...

Didn't Vegeta encounter some of Freeza's henchmen in the Garlic Jr filler? It's been too long & I can't be bothered watching it again to find out, but I'm pretty sure he did...

Re: Should I have Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat Autograph
I had Kyle Hebert autograph Dragonbox 5, so I say do it. Then again, I have the Japanese boxes as well which I consider to be a bit more precious than the US releases. I'd happily let other VAs sign my US Dragonboxes. It's really up to how much you value them & whether YOU think an autograph wil...

Re: Madman 'DBZKai' Parts 4-6 Coming Very Soon plus Price Dr
Why would you bother when you can get those sets in region 1 format for half the price? Even when you pay shipping it's cheaper. With all of Madman's cockups over the years I've learned to stay clear of them. It saves me stress & even better, it saves me money!!!

Re: The Faulconer Music
Well Faulconer didn't only compose the music, he was also the one to set it up with the animation. If he's not around anymore & things really did go down as badly as everyone keeps saying, they're not going to pay someone else to work with his score. That would mean paying 2 people, the one who ...

http://www.vcdcd.com/cgi-bin/vcd_info.cgi?id=117 Does Mike have THIS version of DBZ movie 1? :) I love the description: Kakarot's father and God have a long lasting fend between them. I've purchased all my of my Dragonboxes (I have all of them except Dragonball) from JP Yahoo Auctions for a fraction of the prices of those ones (that's with postage & Celga fees). All are complete as well in gorgeous condition. Knowing this, why would anyone want to pay those prices on Ebay?

I wouldn't mind checking out the other 2 DB games though, specifically the "VR VS" game. I'd like the PCB of that one. It looks interesting rather than being an ordinary Street Fighter clone. Yeah, I also collect arcade PCBs (I too own the 1992 Macross PCB you mentioned - a much better Ba...

I take any opportunity to hate on Madman that I can. In that case Captain Awesome is a VERY appropriate name for you :) I've been bitter about Madman for many years. Faulty products, poor PAL conversions & grossly overpriced products. Anime was originally made in NTSC so that's how I prefer to ...

If you can get me a postage price to Australia for those 3 DB Singles diorama sets I'll happily take them off your hands. I missed out on the GT boxset as due to time differences I was asleep when it went sadly
But if you can give me time I'll Paypal you when I see it.
