True, but Goku would have only needed an instant as a Super Saiyan 3 to defeat Majin Vegeta, then power down back to Super Saiyan 2 to conserve his time left on Earth and use Instant Transmission to help his son and the Supreme Kai to defeat Dabura and Babidi as fast as possible.
