Re: What would you prefer for the Blu-Ray? 4:3 or 16:9?
While we're on the subject, does 'adding layers' affect the physical weight or size of the disc, or is layer of description of a digital layer?

That is wrong. Illumitoon just did the DVDs.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:But I assume Illumitoon wrote the scripts and Phuz just dubbed it.G1Ravage wrote:Bobobo was dubbed by Phuz using LA actors. Barry Watson's Illumitoon was only involved in the DVD's, much like how Pioneer did the DVD releases for the original 53 episodes of DBZ.

painted houses . My God, did they decide to do any real research before writing that article? I'm 2 pages in and the inaccuracies are absolutely ludicrous. "Remember, dear, you're being torn apart by cats, more agony, more horror." Anyone care to enlighten me as to what on Earth was going ...

Re: Where Does Barry Watson Figure In?
He (and Daniel Coconough...er?) were the producers of the dub. Like Mike said he over saw casting and directing many of the episodes, as well as the 'reversioning'. Before that, I believe he painted houses . But yeah, he formed Illumitoon a few years ago...and...yeah. They were putting out Bobobo DV...

Re: What would you prefer for the Blu-Ray? 4:3 or 16:9?
I would prefer having the option of both so everyone can be pleased. A dual layer can hold up to 100gb so I believe that would be the biggest solution A single-layer BD is 25GB. Therefore a dual-layer is __GB? (Come on, I have faith in you. You can do it! ;p). In any case, 4:3 is the optimum soluti...

Re: Dragonball Kai dub?
Well, considering Toriyama drew Gokû with Nozawa in mind...eheheheh. Soooooo... the anime came out before the manga? I really don't see what you mean. :? How'd you get that? I was implying that because the anime is so similar to the art that Toriyama drew when he began to hear Nozawa's voice while ...

Re: Curse of The Blood Rubies Coming To DVD Says Otaku USA
I wouldn't go counting out a DB Dragon Box. If Funimation thinks they can turn a profit from something DB-related, you can bet they will eventually. I wouldn't go for a GT Box either. Nobody cares that much about GT to justify buying it twice. I'm surprised anyone cares about it enough to buy it on...

Re: Dragonball Kai dub?
I have no idea what's everyone is talking about, nor do I care. The only thing that worries me about the new English dub is that the voices will not turn me on the way they used to back in the day. Yeah, go ahead and think I kidding, "oh it's just Scarz being Scarz" but super serious. Gok...

Then again, this is the anime...which pretty much looks like Toriyama's art...so...eheheheh.
Personally, the only 'child Son' I've ever felt capture the cuteness of the child Sons was Kara Edwards.

As of late her stern Gokû's been deeper than most of Schemmel's Gokû, as far as I can tell.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Nozawa? Deep voice? What version are you watching? The Time Traveller wrote: There's nothing "girly" about Goku's screams, Nozawa does a pretty deep voice for him anyway.

It could also be attributed to wanting the impatient to get Nicktoons and watch it there.Kendamu wrote:Really? September? That seems a little longer than usual. I guess it's to be expected since the show is still in production.
Although...I'm not sure how well that'll work in there he'uh parts.

Re: Curse of The Blood Rubies Coming To DVD Says Otaku USA
It matches up with the rerelease of the Trunks and Bardock specials. I think in this age, FUNimation feels something so short should be cheaper.

How about a Pilaf episode? He's a wealthy inventor, that's gotta be worth an hour of laughs!!
Fun episode as usual, I can't wait to see what you thought about Makankôsappô being used. And the retaining of the episode titles. And the Schemmel singing the Dragon Soul~

Well, in the first panel the decision is made to fix him up, the other panels show what they're doing once they have finished.
