As a matter of fact, fansubs are just illegal to start off with. The only way you could possibly palm off legitimatley owning one is if you happen to make it from a copy you already own and translate it into your own language (german subbed .hack for R1 DVDs, or English subbed Mezzo DSA for R2 DVDs)...

Exo-Squad was also an interesting American Cartoon. One of the few Robot cartoons in the US that took itself seriously and delt with every situation somewhat realistically. for example, one of the main characters has his arm cut off, so he gets a cybernetic one. It's fairly chunky, and he has to get...

Transformers technically isn;'t anime, as it was only FUNDED and animated by a Japanese company (and for all we know, Japanese people never even drew anything up until headmasters. Toei do outsource to Korean/Chinese studios, or atleast did). It was aired in America first with American voices, was d...

If you country is under the Berne Convention, which I'm sure it is, then it's not legal considering- 1. any manga officially done/published is still copyrighted 2. the translation isn't official therefore both are in breach of copyright terms and junk. However, best to contact the owner of the said ...

FUNimation actually do hold the license to everything Dragonball, including the movies. However, i would imagine it's materials and such that are being delayed from Toei, rather than FUNimation just sitting on their behinds with this one. Yeah, saiyaman out right after cell. Something got me thinkin...

I'd imagine white puffy cloud. I mean, the guy wasn't exactly a hero, he killed lots of people (despite it being his nature and at request of certian employer) and sure, he did throw himself on the line for a much greater purposes. He did save his son, but that's in no way heroic, I mean, it's natur...

Feel free to call a foul on me here, but from what I can remember, FOX NEVER announced a DBZ live action movie. What FOX DID announce was a live action franchise. That CAN entail a movie, but it's no sure-fire sign of one. All they have is rights and it seems they're sitting on them. of course, you ...

Re: Don't know where else to put this
2: Why can't Funimation make a disc that stays in its DVD case? I've had to return 4 boxsets so far because discs fell out of their cases and got scratched up. 3: Is there any indication that the first 13 episodes of Dragonball will be released on DVD anytime soon? My girlfriend wants to start watc...

Macross Plus OAV version was dubbed way-back-when in 1994 or something. The DVDs are bilingual. The Movie however, is sub only. The dub takes one or two script liberties, and some of the music is reaaranged, HOWEVER I still think it's better than the sub version. Not to say the sub version is bad th...
