I'd say the singles on content. But the Season Sets have an easy to follow and consistent release, they're cheap, they're available, and they take up relatively very little space.

It's hard to fault someone for going for the Season Sets if the Singles are the only other option.

I sincerely doubt they are going to animate new sagas from scratch. It's an easy budged production. They can't even be arsed to recolor Vegeta and Nappa in a flashback or hell redraw anything thus far from scratch (as in not based off of preexisting material) I don't see why they'd do a 180 and sud...
