Re: What's canon?
Lol it's funny I'm myself learning from this, I didn't know the canon had been officially revealed, but to be fair it is relatively recent The Tokyo Skytree + Viz North America Tour is a special promotional event that is running from November 1, 2018 until January 7, 2019 as a promotion for the twen...

Re: What's canon?
You're making this overly complicated mate, "canon" is everything and everyone in the original storyline of the Dragon Ball manga made by Akira Toriyama and products simply stated as canon by him, which includes the other works I mentioned. I am sorry but if we can't even agree that at the...

A canon is important for things to make sense and keep a somewhat coherent universe lol

Re: What's canon?
The original manga is canon, Jaco and a few specials are canon, Super is canon (all three medias, which is confusing as ****), and that's it. Everyone who tells you otherwise like GT or other similar stuff is wrong, period.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Looks like we're arguing over semantics here, can you really not relate why I would see Babidi in the background compared to Buu the same way I see Paragus in the background compared to Broly?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Broly's father isn't a background character since he's literally the reason why Broly is the way that he is, an unstable man child who Freeza easily manipulated. Certain things simply wouldn't have happened in the Broly movie if it wasn't for him. I don't disagree with you but he still is a backgro...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Hit and Jiren are not 'villains', they're antagonists. Precisely, we saw more antagonists than villains in Super, not saying this as a critic to keep in mind That and you said that Super had no villains except Zamasu, except Freeza would technical count. That and Broly's dad since he's the reason w...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
You're missing some like Hit or Jiren, Didn't think of counting Freeza in this thread but ok How? They mentioned the Champa arc and the TOP Arc. And if we're not counting the retellings then it's 'NO Villain, Villain, No Villain, Villain'. So, the point still stands. Beerus, Champa, Hit, Jiren... Z...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Well to me it feels really right, it's heavily built upon DB mythology, there is an actual threat from a REAL villain (long time no see, last was Zamas...) I don't think you can say long time no see when 'one arc' is the long time... And when was the last time before Zamas? The majority of Super ha...

Well to me it feels really right, it's heavily built upon DB mythology, there is an actual threat from a REAL villain (long time no see, last was Zamas...), I am really hoping that they take the opportunity to dig on Genki Dama's lore further, Moro could very well be capable of doing an "Evil G...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Oh wow I am so happy right now,
I had put the manga on the side during TOP because meh but now I have caught up and I must say I adore this new Moro arc,
If this keeps up Dragon Ball is definitely (and finally at last) back on track for me

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
Come on now we literally never saw such quality animations/visuals/fights in the entire franchise before, not saying the movie is perfect but in all honesty it came very close in my opinion, all it needed was the narrative to keep going on during the fighting part with some moments to breath to bui...
