What it amounts to is that I sold my translation of the lyics to FUNimation (along with everything else I do for them). They then become the owners, to do with it whatever they like. As far as being able to copyright translations, this is my understanding of the issue. Copyright law (at least in the...

It is nice to see you among the living and working is a good thing in light of the economic troubles that is occurring. Now back on topic. If you get a spare moment, could you share with us what you consider the proper spelling of the little Saiyan Prince’s name? It's a toughie. I don't prefer Tarb...

I agree for the most part I will go with the Daizenshuu EX spelling and when they have not covered the name, I will go with the Simmons' spelling. In this instance, I will make an exception and go with Tarble. By the way, what ever happened to Daimaô/Simmons? I have not seen him post in quite awhil...

Starting with School Rumble season 2, the translations were back in-house. Best show I did all year (and that was last year). Don't know why it didn't get released until just this month. And Tomato did take over from episode 29 (or wherever the Tournament discs leave off). It makes sense that he did...

I've got a copy of both Pink and Kennosuke-sama somewhere on VHS, but I haven't watched them in a decade, and I've moved several times since then, so I don't know where they would be packed away. :( And it will probably take moving again before I ever unearth them. I'll probably find my copy of Toba...

Just to answer this question quickly, once the DVD is ripped onto your harddrive (I use SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter, Google them) then I use SubRip (I have to use 1.4, the newer version doesn't save files properly for me). SubRip will read over the subtitle streams within the VOB files and conver...

By the way, for Mr. Simmons if he's reading, why did they credit Mr. Clyde for the translations on the Dead Zone DVD? I found that incredibly odd. Probably sloppy bookkeeping. I think I got credited for the whole Gunslinger Girl series, when he did it. At least that's what Crystal Acids says. But t...
