Daima is gonna start airing late 2024 and should go until 2025 if it's a short season. Then there's gonna be at least a year break after Daima and before Super 2 (if it's gonna be a thing.) So the initial leaks got it almost correct, which were saying it's around 15 episodes.
20 is well enough for one arc, I guess some hijinks, cliffhangers and then the last boss fight will probably last 4 or 5 eps.

Not anytime soon I think. 2024 is Daima's year and I assume it might air a bit into 2025 too. Then probably another few years of break for the anime.
All while Toyotaro is coming up with manga arcs that are set after Super Hero but still before EoZ

Yes it brought new cast and new form, but it could have been done post EoZ and still feel the same, except with actual tension.

We don't even know if Daima and Super are even connected in any way (as the trailer is amibigious about it). Kibitoshin being unfused but Beerus and Whis not being present at all makes it feel like an AU story.

I like both GT and what we've seen of Daima so far, and wouldn't ever want one to replace the other.
In the long run, both are gonna have an important place in the Dragon Ball chronicles and appear together in games and other tributes to the series.
