Re: Will Dragon Ball ever get a true 100% reanimation?
Okay. First off, Naruto's not actually being reanimated , it's having the current animation brought into HD. It's the same principle as Kai's crisper quality, except NarutoHD isn't cutting out any filler (AKA, what the hell is the point?). Second, Evangelion was never "reanimated". The 'Re...

Re: Kai vs. Z Dub
Uh...what? Flashback of what? Where? Which show are we talking about? Is this one of those hidden camera shows where the people bite into the sandwich and it has a piece of paper in it that says "gravity is clockwise" and you think you kidna get the concept but in execution it's so far rem...

Re: Kai vs. Z Dub
Her Luffy has only sounded the way he does since the timeskip, actually. I've watched Enies Lobby again recently and he's a lot higher and less gruff. She's trying to differentiate the voice since he's a 19 year old man, but it doesn't work great (it's tolerable...). Her Gohan, while obviously a sim...

Re: As A FUNi Dub Fan, Has Z Kai Replaced Z for you?
Absolutely. I'm a stickler for pacing, and even Kai's is just "tolerable". I simply cannot deal with Z's pacing, or anything close to it, even in other shows. I've been editing a cut of One Piece episodes just to be able to watch it with my sister and not get burnt out after a couple episo...

Yeah, it's working now. I swear this was really something that happened, though.

There seems to be an issue with the download. Parts 7 and 8 don't contain parts 7 and 8, only copies of part 6.

Re: Toonami 2014 DBZKai Ratings!
Lazily edited or not, that pacing makes all the difference. I value a crude looking series that moves at good speed to a polished looking snail race. It'll be the only way for my dad and sister to tolerate the series with me, too.

Re: What would you want in A Kai of the original Dragon Ball
Speaking of that edit...is it still around? I got a download link for all the episodes a while back, but they've all gone invalid now, and from the very start they also had a link to a version of megadownloader filled with adware.

Re: Worst Moment/ Part of the Series for You
Everything between Piccolo vs. 17 and the Cell games, for me. With the exclusion of some of the development in the time chamber, there was just nothing here for me. They stay in this one friggin' group of islands for everrrr . It might be the fact that Kai alters it a lot less compared to the first ...

Re: So about C.Sabat's "new" voice...
Tone is similar, but I don't think they sound totally the same. Yamcha vs. Vegeta or Piccolo is a good example, especially since he tends to use much more nasalliness as Yamcha, and much more hard k's and ch's as Vegeta. And again, Armstrong kinda sounds like a frequent tobacco chewer (sometimes? in...

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
The whole audience except for me and Bruce burst out laughing at that. I mean, spamming it in a video would be funny in theory if Over9000 logic is in place, but it wasn't that funny to the point where we should have been able to hear what the line after it was. (I'm serious, I have no idea what the...

Re: What phrases/opinions/things bring out your irate fanboy
Krillin hate is probably the most annoying for me. We get it, he ain't the best. He tries his damndest though, wasn't that the whole thing that Goku said that made him so much better than Vegeta? Other than that...people acting like Gohan's missed potential was a writing problem, instead of an in-un...

Re: So about C.Sabat's "new" voice...
More naturalistic and less forced voice acting is always a good thing... His early Vegeta voice always sounded really strained IMO. Cause' he was trying to sound like the Ocean guy before right? Now, he kinda sounds like Sabat's Major Armstrong voice with a little less chipmunk-packing-nuts-in-its-...
