GT will likely be reimaged if they want to add it into the actual timeline, as there is no mention of SSJ God, or the Gods of destruction in GT.
If they took the plot points of the Bebi and Shadow Dragons ark I'd be okay with it

Goku more than likely already had this form when he was fighting Toppo and was going to transform into it, so how and when he achieved the form is a better question.

I think he achieved this form after the Future Trunks ark but can't pin point the exact time though...

Because DB's humor and tone don't fit what Snyder does. His films tend to be darker and grittier. If he solely focused on the history of Trunks portion "with how limited material there is" he could do some nice things with it, but dragon ball in general no he's probably not the right pers...

The anime had too much filler, seriously was there planned filler?...
And the last ark was just dragging on and on and on and on...

And they had the chance to cut the filler with the 1st part being brought in to HD, waste of time and potential especially money...

I have never seen the Dragon Box artwork outside the dragon boxes, the individual artwork I've seen as wallpapers, can't say where you can find the others though
