Other than the final/true form, I liked the 1st form better. But I got to say, I'm also really liking Freeza's design in Broli's movie, in the flashback (even though it still is the 1st form but with a different look).

Well, I suppose (my "headcanon" if you will) that planet Vampa's unique atmosphere somehow works as a shield that isolates ki in some manner; hey, maybe that's why Paragus's spaceship broke down.

This stuff with Ginyu is getting ridiculous, I think he's given way too much credit for his abilities... not to mention this fight between him and the kaioshin got uninsteresting, so I hope this part is over for now.

I think it's a bit weird seeing them paired up as kids, but when they grow up they can be written in a way that it can be made less awkward, for example if Mai tries to avoid him, Trunks finds out how old she really is but doesn't mind it because they look the same age... again, when Trunks is older...

Personally, I hope it is because this series has seen so (or too) many power-ups and forms already. I want the focus to be on good stories and slowly develop the new generation.

Despite the inconsistent animation, I'm glad they retold the movies mostly because I didn't watch RoF and partially because Dragon Ball Z ended a long time ago and I think using the plot from Battle of Gods was a good way to recap the story.

For example in Super, while everyone was away for the tournament, I think there was a missed opportunity for them to have a subplot on Earth while protecting 17's island. Considering how far the anime went with setting that story up, I don't think it was a missed opportunity as much as it was somet...
