Toriyama's always really written with a family-esque audience in mind, at least that's how I see some of his work. :D

Is it really fair to say it's the coolest television cartoon in the last 50,000 years when television was made avalible maybe only... 70 years ago? :?
Since when has 'fanboy logic' ever needed to make sense??? :P

As long as we're talking about Sean, maybe you guys might get a kick outta this story: One afternoon I was on lunch break from a college class in NYC (where I live now), and I decided to walk up to where a certain anime-dubbing studio happened to be (it was only a few blocks away). I had been there...

On the Gokû versus Vegeta extra on UUSE volume one release Schemmel mentions that a divorce and lack of money during the time of the recording of the Ginyu and Freeza stuff placed an enourmous about of strain on him and along with long hours in the studio (Schemmel mentions in an interview with a Ka...

Voice actors are free agents. Hebert is not exclusively linked to Viz Meda he just happens to live close to studios that Viz uses in LA. Same with Schemmel in NYC. Both actors do fly back to Texas to reprise their roles, espicially Hebert considering the One Piece work he will have to be doing later...

I suspect that this 'training' for the Bulma character is the simple self defense training. If those ninja/whatever goons for Piccolo are going to be causing a ruckus I can see Bulma kicking on of 'em in the sweet spot...

Well, let's be real here. Things do not look too good right now and I am a little displeased by the changing of Son Gokû's character into a quasi-Gohan role in that he's some love-struck teen or whatever. To be perfectly honest if Son's mountain hickness was retained and "while in the care of R...

I honestly cannot see a live action film being made. The film would work much better as a motion capture film ala Advent Children. What I find interesting is that TOEI or FUNimation have yet to pipe up, I mean seriously what's going on with that? I just do not like the smell of this.

Viz to release 'Dragon Ball Collector'

In my new monthly Shônen JUMP (North America release from Viz Media), this being issue 56, Viz reveals in October, as part of 'Shonen JUMP Evolution' a 'Dragon Ball' collector will be released. Also, they cover Harukanaru [Gokū] Densetsu, calling it 'a fun little diversion for your DS.' Peace out, Y...

Seriously...Season One should've ended with episode thirty-five and this one should've begun with thirty-six.

I suppose I shall pick this up when I get the chance, hopefully for the same dirt cheap price I got Season One for, $35.99.

Oh God no! I love you guys, I'm just threw this out as a sort of overall view on the situation. I'm still rather 'meh' on the who 'cropping/widescreen' situation, I was simply trying to give FUNimation a little humility. People like to think FUNimation likes to screw everyone over (cigar man, no?) ...

What do you all expect? FUNimation is a small time company (however big she has become, she is still small) just trying to make money and prepare for the next wave of Home Entertainment techonology. If FUNimation went with this decision, then they've must have some sort of credible idea that what t...

So Goku is a misspelling of Goku? You lost me there. =D And since when is Viz the be all end all? Viz might as well have gotten it wrong. Goku is, if you ask me the most simple, straightforward and quite correct romanisation of the kanji that translate into "Son Goku", especially because ...
