I recently found out the Full Color Viz releases were mostly uncensored and have the original Japanese sound effects, so I HAVE to get them, they just haven't arrived yet... Not only that, it looks like they "fixed" Cargo's name... their old translation used Scargo, the full color release ...

I don't get bothered seeing dub names, only when I don't know who they're talking about but you can just look at the wikia if you don't know certain character's names.

I still wanna hear Zoe Wanamaker give it a go. I bet she could do the right kind of accent or maybe deepen her voice a little.

It comes from champagne and is spelled Shanpa in Japanese, so Shampa.

I guess I use a mixture of what I hear in Japanese, see on DVD subs and read in the Viz manga. If it's "wrong" then I'll go with whatever sounds right.

I have a few trading cards from Japan that say "Klillyn" and "Ginew".

You guys gotta realise that if they left it as Kuririn, they didn't have access to the original audio so it's likely they'd call him Curry-rin. They pronounced Saiyan, Kaio-Ken and Dr. Gero waaaaaay differently compared to the original, there's no way they'd get Kuririn right.
