Re: The Plausibility of the Boo Arc
I wonder what kind of role would 17 had in Buu arc, if he had a bigger role from that of giving Goku his energy.

Sorry, I just wanted to express my hatred towards Zamasu, that's all.SupremeKai25 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 3:26 pm I did say special biologically (that's why for example Gods are naturally born with God ki, or the Potara is permanent on them), also I get that Zamasu lives in your head rent free but we were talking about Granola.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Oh please, what does special even mean in DB? Pretty much most of god type characters were dwarfed by mere "ningens" eventually, like Kami, Kaio; Kaioshin became a joke even before the main event with Buu even began, etc... Zamasu had to steal body of a mortal, and/or wish for immortality ...

What kind of future arcs do you think will happen?
Personally, even if series goes canonically beyond EoZ, somehow I doubt Uub will ever be given all that much attention. DBGT tried to do something with him, but in the end, it really felt like his only purpose was always just so that there is someone who will be trained by Goku in that open ended, w...

Re: What would be the breaking point Super would do that would make you feel like it jumped the shark?
I had some thoughts about post EoZ canon Bra training under Beerus to succeed him, OR becoming all rebellious, and joining Freeza's army. ... I mean, hey, we live in a world where Freeza probably more powerful than any character up to the DBGT - not sure about SS4 Gogeta, but still... Also, Pilaf, M...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I meant DBZ, yeah... Btw, when exactly did Majin Vegeta actually became official? In anime, just like with Yamu, Spopovitch, and all other fighters under Babidi's spell, Vegeta was always, well, just Vegeta. Majin was always for Buu only, both as the part of his name, as well as what he is - evil ge...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
Maybe even more than Dragon Ball anime continuation, for now, I really wish someone brought us every Toriyama anime that was left without translation, like both Dr. Slump series. I once read something about Toei thinking of putting their own YT channel with English, and Chinese subtitles. Dragon Bal...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
From what little we saw, I really think that Granolah is just a (very skilled) space bounty hunter, no matter how cliche that may sound. As for the "survivor" thing, it may be that he wasn't actually survivor of some big accident, but rather the way he lives his life - collecting bounties ...

Putting Dragon Ball community aside (for a while)...
I don't remember it being intentional, but somehow I ended up registering on this site (is this actually the biggest DB forum on the Internet?) at the very beginning of this year - January 1, 2020... And now is pretty much the end of it, early hours of December 31, 2020 in Germany. I could have writ...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
While I did say that Toppo is better character than Jiren, that doesn't mean that I dislike Jiren, or something like that. On contrary, I think he is really cool, even if that coolness is based of classic silent, stoic cool guy trope. His execution, and backstory may not have been the best of all ti...

Re: If Gohan entered the ROSAT with Piccolo instead of Goku, how strong would he become?
Btw, from my point of view, Goku really only helped Gohan master SS1. As for SS2, it isn't like Gohan got into it willingly, but rather only after witnessing Cell destroying 16, something no one could have predicted. Wasn't Piccolo aware of Gohan's latent power since almost the beginning of DBZ, any...

Re: If anime never happened, would Dragon Ball ever be as big as it is now?
You understand? Then please enlighten me, because for the life of me I can't understand such randomness in that statement. Basically, those who say that anime is irrelevant, mean that since Dragon Ball is originally manga, that only what is in manga means something, and everything else is just adap...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
I wouldn't have anything against anime adaptation of DBS manga, including the arcs that anime covered already, if Toei really decided adapt the entire main manga from the very start.

If anime never happened, would Dragon Ball ever be as big as it is now?
Someone recently wrote how anime is irrelevant; like, it only matters what manga says, cause Toriyama is first and foremost mangaka. Now, I understand why people say such things, even though I am primarily anime person, but still... I have a feeling that one day no matter how much canon it is, manga...

Re: Things have gotten too weird - Mai
It never bothered me, especially not in a story full of genocide, and overall weirdness. Also, in anime in general, no matter how old characters are, if they end up in young body, their mental age sort of stop to have any meaning - for instance characters which look like they are 12, but have lived ...
