Re: Is Toei on a strict schedule to release Super all at onc
Toei Animation has already bought the timeslots. If they don't keep it filled they'll be pouring money down the drain and damaging contacts with sponsors. I mean, Madhouse is the best example of awesome art and animation. Just look at One Punch Man . All of the good stuff in One Punch Man is not ac...

I wonder which is worse, what Toei has given us so far in Dragon Ball Super or Naruto: Shippuden filler.

Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
Ain't it about time Funimation came out with something? Don't they have to release Kai 2 first before doing Super and they haven't even got started on that yet. Why is taking so long for Kai 2.0? No idea. We still have yet to see the Majin Buu arc in Dragon Ball Kai voiced by the dub. They went out...

Re: Is Toei on a strict schedule to release Super all at onc
I think the art and animation in Super obviously needs work. From my perspective, it would have been better for them to wait a few months and just not retell the movies and start at the Hakaishin Champa Arc. That may or may not have given them time to revise their work and plan everything out, rathe...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Alright haven't been keeping up here, why do I see the majority of people on Reddit claiming that Goku got 50x stronger? I probably have no idea what you're referring to, but I'll take a shot at it anyway. It was stated in some databook that the Super Saiyan transformation is 50x stronger than base...

Re: Super's next arc and villain ideas: naming puns
I think it needs a major villain powerful enough to force both Goku and Vegeta to use SSGSS. That would be epic. As for name puns, ech. I'm really bad at those ^^ Let's see, we've have vegetables, instruments, the cold, alcohol.... hm.... I think one for weapons suggested earlier would be a good idea.

Re: Is tension dead for you?
I don't think the lack of tension is due to the existence of the Dragon Balls or because Super takes place between the Buu arc and the end of the manga. I think there's been a lack of tension because 1) we already knew what would happen in the first two arcs of Super thanks to the movies, and 2) The...

Re: After this interview, would you like other studio for Su
After i've read this interview, I'm honestly mortified with how bad Toei treat DB series, they produce way too many series, soon we will have Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3 as well, and their director even have nerve to tell people, that we dare to complain, at this point, i really would prefer some ...

Re: Are you satisfied with the story of Super so far?
Forget the animation quality just look at the story so far, are you happy with it as an addition to the dragon ball canon or do you wish it never existed? Not at all. There just isn't anything about it that really feels like a continuation of the series in the Toei episodes. There just is no real e...

Re: Should Funimation skip the first two DB Super arcs?
Yesssss. I've been saying this for the longest. Those two arcs are explosive diarrhea that are bound to turn people off (even I stopped watching...). What Funimation and Toonami can do is something of a countdown to Super. One Saturday airing Battle of Gods. The other airing Resurrection F. Then, t...
