Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

So I managed to find some recordings of episodes 105 and 106. Gohan, Piccolo and Roshi sound a lot like the previous voices but Tenshinhan and Vegeta are actually very different, with Tenshinhan being the biggest offender (not that I complain since I was never a big fan of Spínola's Tenshinhan). Pic...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

The DVD specs on FNAC for Broly got updated once again. The english audio was a mistake and now that the specs are complete the DVD is confirmed to have the dub and the original audio.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

So I found this podcast with Miguel Raposo and right on the first 2 minutes Miguel Raposo reveals he's the new voice of Limit Break x Survivor, he´s a professional singer so it makes sense. Wonder if he'll dub Ultimate Battle too. EDIT: He also reveals he's the new voice of Master Roshi. This will b...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

For those who don't know BIGGS is premiering two brand new episodes on Iberanime. They're premiering two ToP episodes and since all the ToP episodes until 104 are still with SIC it's easy to assume that it will be the first time 105 and 106 will be shown in Portugal. 105 will premiere on Saturday at...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Films4you is the official distributor for Home and VOD releases in Portugal. Seems that a Blu-ray release was never an option since they never do Blu-ray releases.

If there's nothing in Toei's fiscal report about a continuation of Super it means that July date is not a thing and won't happen, and if that happens we'll just have to wait and see what happens until October.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Couldn't we try and pressure them to release a Blu-ray edition? It worked for the sub release on cinemas. I doubt it. I never expected a Blu-ray release adn even a DVD release I always thought was only a small chance, blu-rays are expensive to make and the portuguese market clearly never gave into ...

WE'RE GETTING A PHYSICAL RELEASE FOR BROLY!!!

Unfortunately it's DVD only but it's better than nothing.
Dub only or subs too?
No idea but I'd say it's a pretty safe bet to say subs too since the sub was also in most theatres.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread

We don't know if this has to do with DB Super though... https://twitter.com/Terez27/status/1122161991307661316 I mean, I don't think the announcement of Super 2 would be something that you'd have to go to the Heroes Website to see You wouldn't go to the Heroes website to do anything unrelated to He...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

This makes me curious to see how good Miguel Raposo is as Goku. Every review about the EU. portuguese dub said that Miguel did the role very well. From what I've heard some people were waiting for the movie to get out of theatres to publish the dub online and since it's only on 5 screens now I'm su...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

The movie was a financial success at the theaters so does it mean they'll release it on Blu-ray? Honestly, I doubt it very much. Portugal has way bigger chances of getting a simuldub of the Super sequel like France and Italy than getting a blu-ray of Broly, the Broly dub we'll live on TV and probab...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Broly Box Office Thread

The movie is up to $148,000 in Portugal. In France they're saying it's sold 529,412 tickets, I think that's an estimate and as of tomorrow, it's confusing I'm not too sure. As it stands though that should be around $4.1 - 4.2 million. Considering the TV ratings for Portugal that's really low. It's ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

In 2 weeks the movie made:

Box office: € 123280.77
Spectators: 22762

Dropping form 3rd place to 6th place from it's first to second week the movie is still on of the most successful movies from the last 14 days. Let's hope it can keep it's place on the Top 10 for it's third weekend.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

At least the movie is already making profit since Big Picture was so afraid of this being a flop that they didn't even out in 100k euros for the whole thing, including rights, dubbing marketing, etc.

All I can say is that it came from someone directly involved with Dreamia (Biggs' parent company) but just like I said it's just a theory, a very possible theory but just a theory.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Is it me or they called Cold both General and Lieutenant in the dub? Yes, they do. That's the only "big" mistake that I found in the dub but it's such a little mistake in an overall wonderfully casted dub that I can't help but let it pass. Unregarded to the Broly movie I have good news an...

Looks like Colombo isn't gone but it just has less sessions due to "Us".
