Re: How did you feel about the English singers in Kai?
I'm cautious to repeat stories I've already told just because I don't want to annoy anyone by sounding like a broken record, so I apolgize for anyone who's read this story... ...But there does indeed exist a version of "Dragon Soul" sung by Chris Sabat. Sort of. He said at a con that he n...

Re: DBZKai comes to the UK
Man I really hope it's not aired on kix. Don't get me wrong I think it's a decent channel... when I get the chance to watch it at someones house with a skybox. I'm on virginmedia so I don't have that channel, surely having dbkai on a more popular channel will allow it more success and potential to b...

Re: A Next Gen cast
I really don't think a new cast would do Dragon Ball any good, half the charm is the endearing characters, without them it'd just be a bunch of strong guys blasting each other. I think even if they managed to introduce fantastic new characters that held the Toriyama spirit, not seeing the characters...

Man, seeing this thread has made me realise just how many iconic places there are in Dragonball that could be used. WHY the hell are we instead, only getting "Archipelago" and "Rocky Area" every game?

Re: If Battle of Gods is successful
I'd love to see maybe a spin-off series of some sort. If the movies success ever influences Dragon Ball Online to come out internationally it'd be awesome to have an anime based on a few new original characters and time patrol trunks. I'd also like to have the games take a shift in a different direc...

Re: Favorite DB Lines?
One I can think of from the top of my head is from one of the few times when Freeza calls Goku a monkey, it goes something like: "I don't know why you call Saiyans such mindless names, all it does is reveal own ignorance... I guess you're to weak to make any other attack." It's just the U...

Re: Dragon Ball becomes really mainstream
I'd be really happy if Dragon Ball went mainstream. I know when things go mainstream they start to lose their appeal to the original fans but c'mon this is Dragon Ball, it shouldn't be anything but mainstream IMO and it really saddens me to see how unpopular it compared to how it used to be. I live ...

When I was 15 my friend and I tried to fuse, I can't remember whether I genuinely thought it could work if we did it right.

Re: Dragon Ball Themed Birthday Party?
'Frieza's Five Minute Frenzy!' One person is selected to be Frieza. The rest of the party are Goku and anyone else on Namek. Start a stop clock and face it away so nobody can see its timer. The aim of the game is for Frieza to stop the timer at 5 minutes (give or take a few seconds depending on how ...

First of all, allow me to apologise for such a late reply - I had actually written out a reply on either the same night or the night after I created the topic but my internet connection messed up and I lost everything that I'd written, I didn't feel like writing it all out again and I haven't been b...

A question of preference.
This may just be me but I've noticed something about myself when it comes to anime and manga or anything related. I always prefer the first version of something I've watched/read. So whenever I try to get into the alternate version of series be it the manga or the anime I just can't get into it as m...

Re: Characters you hated initially but now like.
Tenshinhan This was simply down to me being a shallow kid haha. All the others had really cool hair and stuff but this dude was just bald and didnt really seem to do anything (in Z) . As I got into Dragonball as a whole more seriously I saw what an awesome warrior he was, heck what an awesome ...

Re: Bardock 'What if?' scenario
I think Bardock would've fought him at first to see if he was strong enough to take on a serious enemy, then he would've explained who he was and why he was there. Goku would agree to take on Frieza, if only secretly to be able to take on such a strong opponent, Bardock would then train Goku until h...

Haha RISE my fellow Ultimate Battlers! I think the character list was awesome and was especially impressed with each characters individual style, something the later games have seemed to forget about (press X multiple times to do a combo that looks only slightly different to all the other ...

Am I the only one who LIKED Ultimate Battle 22?
Seriously? I've noticed it seems to get a lot of hate in this forum but I genuinely like the game. Admittedly it wasn't the best game but I still like to go back and play it when I get the time and personally I think it holds up better than something like Budokai 2, and especially better than Final ...

Re: How strong would Goku have been with out earth's trainin
If Goku ends up killing Pilaf then there will be no Piccolo. If they stop Goku then I guess Roshi, Kuririn and Yamucha would have taken of them most likely. They would still be screw against Radditz unless they can try to pull off the Ma Fu Ba (evil containment wave) on him. If Nappa and Vegeta don...

Re: How strong would Goku have been with out earth's trainin
You know, the idea that Roushi or someone else would defeat Gokuu, while interesting, is just boring. I'd like to see something like what Multiverse did: a story where "Kakarotto" survived, became near-feral with almost no inhibitions due to none of the Saiyans or Freeza's crew rememberin...

Re: How strong would Goku have been with out earth's trainin
You make a good point, even with the bump to the head, without Gohan's teachings things could have gone A LOT differently. Tarble was a weird one haha, it's still hard for me to accept him as a real character xD I guess being a weaker Saiyan he just couldnt defeat that many people so he had to adapt...

Re: How strong would Goku have been with out earth's trainin
Kakarot and Mr. Popo would join forces and destroy the world. Thats so true! He would have got killed soon. Tenshinhan, Master Roshi, Tao, Piccolo and even Yamcha with Puar's help could have dealt with his ape form. And well if he somehow miraculously survived until adulthood.. Freeza would h...
