Re: Your Problem(s) with DragonBall Super
[ These statements are pure opinion. "GT is bad," "Red Ribbon Army is a great arc," I mean, really? Treating them as fact? GT being bad is almost a fact and the hate it's getting was the point of sintzu's post in the first place. My point was that Toriyama's name doesn't mean an...

Re: Herms Rates the Show
Because some people consider it to be part of RRA arc, it isn't mentioned as much and so it appears that it isn't loved.ABED wrote:I don't see a connection.

Re: The Universe tourney
If episode 47 is anything to go by, then it's just strongest fighter from each universe. I'd love to see Vegeta's reaction to that, love to see that fucker getting owned by Goku every single time.

DB ep.75: So much action, plus one of the series' few shock revelations. This whole mini-arc needs more love. 4.5/5 It does gets love, it's just that some of us consider it to be part of Red Ribbon Army arc, so maybe that's why it isn't mentioned often. You keep bringing this up. Why? How does it h...

Both achievements are impressive.buutenks wrote:Gero or bulma. I think creating a time machine is more impressive than creating a robot that can surpass freeza.
As for rest, nothing in particular was shown to place them even close to these 2(except for dr. briefs, but ye).

I like to think so, yes.Polyphase Avatron wrote:Do you think this was intentional, as a way of saying that the fans are often too obsessed with relative power levels and fighting strength/consistency?
I'll never understand obsession with power levels, i fucking hate that.

Re: Herms Rates the Show
Forgot to mention that i read fan translation of the Kanzenban, so it all fits nicely with the anime, compared to Viz's translation and edits. It's really enjoyable experience: couple of chapters first (usually worth 4 episodes), then i watch those episodes.

Re: SPOILERS Feel really sorry for F.Trunks
Should have never brought him back in the first place, his character arc wrapped up nicely back in the Cell Saga. But it leaves you with some questions: "What happened next, what happened with Boo, Beerus? What's with all this video game bullshit, please show it that it's not canon." If d...

Re: Your Problem(s) with DragonBall Super
Maybe....maybe.... it's because they like it ! :O I know they do but it more than likely has to do with it's name or who's name it has attached to it rather than the show itself. No, it doesn't. Stop using that excuse because you like GT. GT is bad, doesn't matter who made it. Red Ribbon Army is a ...

Lol, i realised that i fucked up after i wrote that, BUT i still liked that Kuririn had nice, well deserved closure in final, 10th manga arc. Married, has a kid, retired and confirmed to be the strongest Earthling. There's nothing more Kuririn Fan can ask for! It's all perfect!

Watching it in 2002 as a 7 year old kid. I actually remember just a few things about my life before Dragon Ball, lol. 2013 was revival of my fandom when i watched BoG and loved it! 2015 as a whole, because i reached perfection as a fan - reading the manga, watching all of DB,Z,GT,Kai in original Jap...

Re: Dragon Ball's story arcs
My favorite arc was Vegeta's followed closely by Piccolo's then Tenshinhan's. Gohan's could've been executed better and no he didn't need to be the hero of the story for his arc to be complete. Goku doesn't have much of an arc. He's pretty much the same guy from beginning to end, just older and a l...
