Re: Dragon Ball and Fair Use
Also depends on the nature of your work -- Are you doing a review? Are you doing a parody? Are you simply re-posting? A strike is so that you don't gain profit off of their material without their consent, and it's common even if creating a review, to get a strike. You just dispute it and it's likel...

Re: Dragon Ball and Fair Use
"Fair use is a legal doctrine that says you can reuse copyright-protected material under certain circumstances without getting permission from the copyright owner" That's what YouTube has to say about it. So essentially different countries, or different corporations can have different view...

Re: Opinions on Dragon Ball YouTubers ?
The fact that any of these people manage to make a living out of Dragon Ball by: uploading videos with clickbait thumbnails which are clearly fake; spreading false and random information; literally copying and pasting what Herms says on Twitter and making a video out of it; copying and pasting a ran...

Re: DragonBall Z Abridged
Lots of sexual "jokes" in this episode, I feel that's a trend that seems to keep increasing to cover a lack of originality in my opinion. But I don't think most of their audience will care, since I believe that no matter what they do they have such a big fan base that it doesn't matter, pe...

Re: The Legalities of MaSTAR Media. Plagiarism?
This is no surprise if you take into consideration what type of trash is popular on Youtube. I mean if you look at a big group of the DB community on Youtube, what do they seem to like? They're a bunch of gullible idiots, who watch click-bait videos with badly photoshopped pictures or pictures of so...

Re: Another Goku vs Superman animation
Best animated battle that I have seen on Youtube between Goku and Superman, and I loved the addition of Vegeta.I liked how Vegeta and Goku eventually had to listen to Whis and work together, so there was a moral to the story which clearly most people seem to have missed or simply don't care about. P...

Re: Goku vs Saitama Fan Animation
It seems to me that all the person did was trace footage from both Dragon Ball and One Punch Man. I mean can't people recognize the footage that's being used? I must have watched Dragon Ball too much because I recognize every scene that he used. The colors are weird, and you can tell the parts that ...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
I don't mean to start a Superman vs Goku debate here or anything, but I saw this animation fight on youtube between Superman vs Goku and Vegeta and thought it was pretty cool: https://youtu.be/uB4oi3PhaNw I liked how there was a moral to the fight and how the outcome was very different than what I e...

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I would love if both Goku and Vegeta lost their respective matches or one of them had a draw. It probably would make a lot of people upset, but I think it would be refreshing and give the spotlight to the other characters. The only one I'm sure will at least get a win is the new guy, I can't see him...

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I wouldn't think Goku would want to stay inside the the Room of Spirit and Time for 3 straight days, considering what he said during the Cell Saga about stressing your body and whatnot. Oh well I guess all previous rules regarding the Room of Spirit and Time are just supposed to be ignored.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Having Broly or Bardock in this seems too much like a fanfic to me, and rather unoriginal at that. What would their point even be? Goku:"Hey that guy looks like me?", Bardock:"!", Goku:"Ok..." That said I'm not surprised most people out there would rage at this. Wouldn'...

Yeah during their respective fights probably. The fat bear is the easiest one to figure out, he ate too much honey.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I wonder if Piccolo or Buu did any training at all for this tournament? I was hoping we'd see something, but it seems it's only Goku and Vegeta training...again. :( I doubt Boo did any training, but Piccolo's the kind of guy who probably did. Now whether or not Toriyama increased his power is up to...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
Sure he did, he accepted his Saiyan heritage for example and then you have underrated scenes of development like him threatening Kaioshin that go completely against his previous characterization. I can agree that he's a putz though, but he's like that on purpose. I wouldn't say those examples prove...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
For me Goku is a one dimensional putz. I suppose that's a pretty unpopular opinion within the fandom even though the one person I introduced Dragon Ball to agreed with me. But Goku, objectively, isn't a one-dimensional character. He's two-dimensional at the very least, and three-dimensional is what...

Re: Do you think its dark that Marron, a 3 year old, was kil
I remember in the anime, when Buu kills everyone on Earth, there's an image of a boy getting pierced through the chest by one of Buu's blasts. Then there's also a little girl thinking it's fireworks, before the blasts start hitting people, even though in her case we don't see her dying. I'd say that...

Re: Vegeta's character and popularity
Vegeta always had a big ego, it's like Herms said his pride and ego were the main reason why he made so many mistakes in the first place. In the Namek saga he only looks smart because Zarbon and Freeza were pretty dumb to begin with, i mean why let Appule out of all people to stay and guard Vegeta? ...
