Re: Kai Episode 99 (06 April 2014)
I'm both disappointed with the poor color correction, but at the same time glad that they didn't use that terrible color palette from season 1. Because with them keeping the old color palette intact, it's possible to fix the color issues in post if we have some good references. I actually like the ...

Re: Color Correcting the Dragon Box - 3 Part Spectacular
The OP's method of removing color cast is technically wrong, or unfinished.
You can't remove a color cast by only balancing the white, you need to balance the black, gray and white points, or at least black and white points in order to make it to work.

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" Coming To Blu-ray (Updated 12/31
Actually TVs dont crop the picture. They stretch a 4:3 picture to 16:9 which will make the characters look fat. The cropping is one of the only things this release does good. They OB used center cropping which was automatically the center of the pic. The Blu ray set use selective cropping where the...

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" Coming To Blu-ray (Updated 12/31
very disappointed on this release. First it makes no sense to make a 16:9 version by actually cropping the video because any modern TV should be able to do it on its own. It was just plain dumb. And what were the reasons behind messing up the brightness and saturation? What references do they based ...
