Since DBS is an new series, should they have any TV Specials or Movies? I think Toei should create a couple of movies based on 11 Universes like a movie focusing on the Pride Troopers, story of Universe 6 Saiyans, etc...

Emperors in all 12 Universes
Since this arc introduced to nine other universes, does any of the twelve universes have a Freeza-like emperor? We know each universe has a Kaioshin, Haikai (God of Destruction) with attendant and an emperor. Because the arc introduced Universe 9 God of Destruction Sidra and Kaioshin Ro, I wonder if...

Does the Saiyaman blonde guy look like General Blue?
Having watched two episodes, does this guy from the Saiyanman Flim look like General Blue? Seems they almost resemble each other.

Good thing the broadcast version of DBS would end up on the DVDs in months to come. Right now, I'm hearing Chris Rager's voice of Mr. Satan.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation English Dub Official Announcement and Discussion Thread
I'm pretty much resigned to the fact the UK will not be seeing Super on TV screens for a long time. There doesn't seem to be any children's network that actually wants to take it - if it weren't for the fact that here in the UK, regardless of the time of day, all children's programming on kids chan...

Re: Representation of the Soviet working class in Dragon Ball
One problem for the article. Blue and Hitler from Movie #12 are technically base on Nazi (National Socialism) ideology. What's also interesting the red stars on the Dragon Balls are from the symbol themselves. What's not a Marxist trait? I'm having trouble following. Marxism is unfriendly to private...

Re: Representation of the Soviet working class in Dragon Ball
But... but Capsule Corp is a private enterprise! Actually it could count given the fact in real life, PR China had liberalised its economy in 1978 and Vietnam in 1986 as well as the USSR under Gorbachev used "perestroika" term. In other noteworthy mentions, the Namekians farming could cou...

Representation of the Soviet working class in Dragon Ball
While I saw this article here on the Dao of Dragon Ball, I noticed recently on DBS when I saw the representation based on the Marxist-Leninist principles: Bulma, who invents and fixes things such as the Dragon Radar at Capsule Corporation represents the industrial workers while Goku, who portrays as...

Re: So did Zeno..
Hold up...
I remember watching one DBZ episode that Grand Kaio of Universe 7 explaining to Goku and Paikuhan that once someone dies again, he/she gets erased from existence if that's the case from Zeno's situation to Zamasu which he is already dea by Mirai Trunks' sword.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
In my view, I would love to see Z-Senshi (Dragon Team) explore nine of the twelve universes. From my guess, Universe 3 is the best guess since it connects to Universe 10.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The official time of the Future Trunks Saga is 780. Where was that confirmed? From the two DBZ movies we got the ages 778 (Battle of Gods) and 779 (Fukkatsu no F). But Super starts with 'some time has passed'. So they didn't mention how many time passed between the defeat of Buu and the appearance ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
While I am speculating (and why wouldn't I, not only it's implied but it's also more consistent that way), all the sources that place the Future Trunks arc in Age 780 are about the anime. as far as I know. Until proven otherwise, the anime and the manga takes place the same year. Because 780 is the...

Re: FUNimation dub of Dragon Ball Super Officially Confirmed
Shocker indeed. Glad its about time FUNimation adds the fifth Dragon Ball series but like Kai, I hope it keeps the Japanese music and the episode titles albeit from the English voices. The late 90s/early 00s dub music has been way past due.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
So apparently Toei released some info graphic about the timelines. You probably discussed it already but...there is a third Zamasu? Yes, and he is dead. There is one Zamasu that is immortal, another one that has Goku's body, and another one that was killed by Beerus. Akin to Cell's use of Mirai Tru...

Canadian resident here. I had Crunchyroll on my iOS device, but can y'all explain the difference between free and paid services?
It's about time Crunchyroll gets DBS. I'm nearly tired of watching Dragon Ball on KeyHoleTV and other streams in the past.

Re: Possible Plothole in Zamasu's Immortality
Having seeing footage from the Dead Zone film, it would appear Zamazu is almost on par with Garlic Jr. Because immortal people cannot die, why not use the Earth's Dragon Balls to have Shenlong wish to open the Dead Zone and toss him in there?
