Re: Ressurecting an artificially aged person
Hmm...I dunno, I could actually see an argument for both sides here. Death by old age is natural, but if the old age occurred far earlier than it should have due to a situation like Pilaf's in GT, then it might be entirely possible or the person to be revived...though it could be a weird case where...

Ressurecting an artificially aged person
While writing a DB related story, a question came in my head that I've been mulling over and can't seem to find a clear answer for. Say if a person is made very old by a wish done with the Dragon Balls, if this person died of this kind of "artificial" old age, could they be revived? It's b...

Re: General "Canon/Filler" Debate/Discussion
The new movies and maybe Yo Son Goku count count for the manga (along with the manga itself obviously), GT and possibly some of the films that can more easily fit into the timeline count for the anime. The films that don't are just alternate universes where one change altered events like movie 12 be...

Re: The Official Unofficial Power Levels Thread
You've pretty much just described the thread's primary purpose. The intent is for power level lists to be treated more as a form of art or an individual project, rather than a pseudo-science like in other DB communities. It's why this thread's in the "Fan-Created Works" section instead of...

Re: Boo Arc in KAI is being poorly made?
The only way this arc could be well made is if it was scrapped entirely and re-written from the ground up into something worthwhile, the green tint and meh music is nothing when the material its tied too is such trash.

Re: Super Saiyan 2 Appreciation Thread
SSJ2 was cool with Goku and Kid Gohan. Kid Gohan rocked it best since it was drastically different from his SSJ form. Goku when drawn right also looks significantly different. Vegeta however looks pretty much the same...he kinda always had that disadvantage with Super Saiyan forms. Adult Gohan also...

Re: Did Kai keep any fillers that directly contradict the ma
Gregory was indeed kept in both during the Saiyan saga and the last bit of the Cell saga when Cell decided to go kamikaze. Doesn't really contradict anything though unless you count a character who never appeared in the manga but was designed by Toriyama himself a contradiction. Personally I'm fine ...

Re: GT Cast
Definitely would've had Piccolo go cause 1) he'd feel responsible for making the Black Stars and 2) having him be a big player and affect the next gen IE Goten, Trunks and Pan who'd go with him would help inspire them to keep on training and make his suicide at the end even stronger emotionally. I m...

Re: What is a "Side Story?" Dragon Ball GT Edition
To add to your points, Kamiccolo9 , while Toriyama-sensei described the movies (prior to 2013) was taking place in an alternate universe or continuity, he never made any such statement regarding Dragon Ball GT. All too often I see the argument that, since Toriyama-sensei declared the movies "n...

Re: What is a "Side Story" Dragon Ball GT Edition
Or we can just put it in simple terms like this: the new movies like BoG and "F" are canon to the manga while GT is canon to the anime. Both are alternate universe of one another that closely ressemble themselves yet with some differences that make GT impossible to fit into the mangaverse ...

Re: Would you mind if Toriyama ditches the Final Chapter & U
I doubt we're gonna get Toriyama to work on a DB series ever again, working on movies that each come out a couple years after each other is managable, but the guys not a spring chicken anymore. To work on a long series, even one that's say the length of GT from start to finish would be a pretty huge...

Wouldn't surprise me, but if he does I want at least Vegeta to get a good chance of beating the living shit out of him beforehand.TheGmGoken wrote:What if Beerus defeats Freeza. Not Vegeta or Kakarot. How would you feel about it?

Re: Gohan thinks he can still become a Super Saiyan
Has anyone considered that Gohan's Mystic Form is simply a variation on Freeza going 100% power? I mean both function very similarly (to me at least), they have a base level from which they can jump around to higher levels and Gohan's Mystic Form is simply him utilizing 100% of his maximum available...

Re: How much older would Goku have to be to lose to Freeza?
I don't get how Toriyama's whole "everyones old when Uub shows up" argument makes any sense. I can kind of see it for Vegeta who's I believe in his mid 50s when Uub appears, but Goku's physically only 40 due to being dead for 7 years. Gohan's like 26-27, Piccolo's about 3 years younger tha...

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I'd love a scene where Pilaf and the gang re-gather the Dragon Balls, ask Shenron to make them older and then they get turned into the decrepit old farts we see at the start of GT
