Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
Toonami's being kinda inconsistent with their cuts. First episode had the full opening, full ending (& uncropped), no eyecatches, and no preview. Oh, and Yamamoto. Second and third episodes have Kikuchi, edited OP, edited ED (& cropped/zoomed in), no eyecatches, and no preview. Fourth, is t...

Re: DragonBall Z Abridged
I wonder if Team Four Star will ever do GT or they will stop after the Buu saga? Maybe they will do Battle of Gods in a few years now. In an interview/ Q&A session a few years ago they said they might stop at Cell actually. Even though I don't watch TFS no more I would love to see their portray...

Re: Dragon Ball Kai 4Kids/Saban version on Kabillion
I was actually checking out Kabillion's selection of stuff on Comcast On Demand a few days back and I didn't see Kai on there. I do remember seeing a dedicated Kai section with some episodes around Father's Day, but it looks like they've taken the episodes down since then (unless I missed them, of ...

Re: The International (/Korean) Version of the Buu-Kai Arc
Well, I guess that's still feasible if you have over a thousand dollars to dosh out. Most of us don't have that option anymore.B wrote:Might as well get the DRAGONBOX.

Re: The International (/Korean) Version of the Buu-Kai Arc
So, for those of you who have been fans longer and therefore have more experience, how long do you think it'll be until Funimation at least announces the dub? Honestly, I'm expecting them to say something by the end of this year. The home release will probably follow sometime next summer. And then ...

Re: The International (/Korean) Version of the Buu-Kai Arc
Pretty sure the opening is Japanese, while the ending is a Japanese man singing in english.garnetjester wrote:Are those songs completely in english? I couldn't make out the lyrics at all, it doesn't sound like japanese.

Re: The International (/Korean) Version of the Buu-Kai Arc
I thought it was rather clear that this is the case. The evidence that they made a longer version for international audiences and then cut it down for Japanese consumption is piling up rather quickly.TheRed259 wrote:And how do you know that the International Version was done first?

Re: Buu Saga Kai
Does anyone think funimation will get the rights to both versions ? like what they did with battle of gods ? They seem to be biding their time with this, but I'm not sure. We're talking two completely different cuts of a series. Personally, I think it'd be awesome. But how are they going to sell so...

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
I doubt they will get Final Act. Its only 26 episodes That didn't stop them from getting Deadman Wonderland, Casshern Sins, Samurai 7, Tenchi Muyo! GXP, Sword Art Online, Space Dandy, Blue Exorcist, and Black Lagoon . Really, length is not a factor in whether Toonami gets a show or not, they've eve...

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2013 Movie Thread: "Battle of Gods
This is pretty awesome.
Wonder if it'll be subbed or dubbed? I'm assuming subbed since a dub would probably have received a more formal announcement, but you never know.
Edit: Judging by the trailer, looks like we're getting a dub!

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
I think that was a random one time thing back in 2008. I think the last time Toonami played DBZ was DBZ Movie 12 and 13. Before that, it was the Black Star Dragon Ball arc of GT in early 2005. Ultimate Uncut was not on Toonami since it was around 11:00 PM on weekdays from what I can remember. Just ...

Re: Kai Continues Outside Japan
Makes sense to me. I had a feeling Kai's success in the international market would encourage Toei to continue it to the end of DBZ. This whole thing is very reminiscent of TMS continuing Sonic X for foreign countries, right down to recording a Japanese track even though the additional episodes never...

Keyhole TV is notorious for having HORRIFIC quality and being incredibly out-of-sync. I mean, I've seen so many topics on the Arlong Park forums of people traumatized by how bad it is... I miss the days of when TVUPlayer had TV Nihon, or even when there were Windows Media Player URLs for these thing...
