Budokai 3 doesn't age, it's immortal.

Combat would be very shallow (like, legit shallow; we're talking 5 combos per character here.), but it'll look pretty and well-presented.

2 things:

1. Use Shin Budokai's fighting system as a basis, Punch/kick buttons instead of light/heavy, crouching and jumping mechanics, and all the other bells and whistles to make it more of a traditional fighter.
   
   Make the game pre-Z only. 2D/2.5D fighting fits DB better than DBZ

Omega2040 has probably the best review of the game so far Imo.

His review are always pretty spot on to me. He expressed the exact thoughts I have about the game.

1.5 mill is excellent. This is what happens with good marketing.

IMO UT is on the same level as the Raging Blast games.... a watered-down version of the Tenkaichi games that seems to deviate from what made the PS2 era DBZ games fun.... for the most parts (*cough*sagas*cough*). Still better than Battle of Zzz..... The RB games were "Tenkaichi Lite" wher...
