Re: Looking back, most transformations in Z were just lazy ways to extend the fight
You could argue the golden saiyan transformation wasn't even necessary for goku to fight freeza, if he copied vegeta's blutz waves ball technique and transformed into an Oozaru. he could have taken down freeza with just the oozaru form mixed with a bit of kaioken swiftly and quickly. but yeah. like ...

Re: Fighterz - Was it explained why A21 is also a Majin?
TBH it seems kind of weird that Buu would have cells in the first place. More weird for me that those said cells would ever not fly back and regen into the main buu, how do they keep them seperate and alive without buu recalling them you know? Maybe if they are far enough away they lose their “link...

Re: Dragonball if it followed 'Invincible'
I know there is an all purpose what if thread, but feel that this idea deserves it's own thread. Rereading through the Saiyan arc recently, I was struck with the thought that when Raditz explains that Goku is a Saiyan and that he is to join the remaining 3, Goku does a dramatic reveal that he is a ...

I agree. We must know how to separate things. M8 Broly is more enjoyable and more entertaining than M10 Broly. It would be dishonest not to acknowledge the difference between M8 Broly and M10 Broly. ^^ this 200%, to amplify your note even further. it would be the equivalent of bashing M8 broly beca...

Does the ritual make Super Saiyan God far stronger?
we know toriyama said that the form is not a fixed level of power and varries by its user, and that its power is borrowed and amped by the ritual ...Goku basically only thinks of fighting as a sporting match, so borrowing the power of five people isn’t fair, and he resisted doing that; however, it s...

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Xenoverse 3 is one of the most hyped game ever, but that's kinda also a curse. cuz now there are a LOT OF EXPECTATIONS and disappointment will bring bad PR to bandai. so i feel like bandai are kinda dragging their feats about it to see whether they will to make it or not xenoverse 2 downside for me ...

Re: "(Super) Dragon Ball Heroes" Official Discussion Thread
Yeah, it's weird they are not taking more liberties with a character as boring and stagnant as Broly when it's a Toei product, I could understand them not wanting to mess with a Toriyama character, but Broly is theirs, he isn't getting any more movies, so they could just go crazy with him, bring so...

Re: Why does the OG Dragon Ball gets so little love from TOEI / BANDAI etc
DB can be rebooted and still contain its classical content, but ultimately it would be for a different audience aka an adult one so i don't think Toei would be happy investing in an anime reboot that would be R rated at minimum.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
-About chapter 77 drafts- Something I always liked about Toyotaro is that unlike Toriyama he doesn't forget that characters exist and he's well aware of the anime-only stuff. In the drafts we see the Freeza's soldiers that killed Bardock's partners in the TV Special and wouldn't be surprised if Bar...

for sure, and it's very intriguing that there was a piccolo one too, i wonder what kind of details it added to his lore? https://www.kanzenshuu.com/manga/spin-offs/ois/piccolo/ If only there was a better site out there than Dragonball Wiki https://www.kanzenshuu.com/manga/spin-offs/ois/piccolo/ ind...

Re: With DB targeting a more international audience nowadays, do you see a minority someday becoming part of the main ca
Well, Takao Koyama and Minoru Maeda made a side story in 1991 called High Pride! The Saiya Prince Vegeta, which was the ~~first~~ second of three prequel stories in the Dragon Ball universe. This one was, as the name implies, Vegeta's prequel. Anyways, I don't know how it went down with the public,...

Re: How strong is SSj Goku post BoG?
I don't see why the multipliers would change, nothing implied that. There's no reason to believe only his first and final form were enhanced, even if they are just power-suppressor forms, there's much more power now so there should be more supression needed. No comment was ever made about his other...

Re: How strong is SSj Goku post BoG?
Or his Super Saiyan form before RoF was close to SSB and once he achieved that his Super Saiyan reverted back into normal levels? It's hard to say but it's undeniable that his SS form is way above SS3 Gotenks after the ritual. I guess this is one of the instances that Goku and Vegeta had SSGod’s po...

DBS: does a third movie continuity exists?
i think it does but i've seen a lot of people who say that it doesn't. my rationale is that Toriyama confirmed in interviews before that BOG/ROF are one continuity, and broly seems to follow up on that note with it ignoring the manga/tv anime. and toyotaro and toei versions of super are as separate ...

Re: In hindsight, what are your opinions on Infinite Zamasu (manga and anime versions)?
I’d love to see Toriyama’s take on this all, especially the ending. I wonder if it was his idea to have Trunks and Mai go live with themselves? between TOP and the future timeline arc, the latter is definitely the most i most aspire to see toriyama's version off. This can't be said enough , it's a ...

Re: The Manga is no more canon than the anime right?
And there is a reason two of those versions are based on Akira Toriyama's [authority/canon] plot outlines. Hence why Akira Toriyama's movies [written by him] are the standard for Super. 100%. i keep seeing tons of people arguing over the tv series vs the manga but rarely does anyone bring up the mo...
