Re: Transitioning to the Japanese version (Z or Kai?)
I'd go with Kai as it's the best looking version currently available outside the dragon boxes. The content is also easier to sit through as it doesn't take anywhere near as long for the plot to develop. I would also recomend you to continue to watch the original Version of the Anime (Episode 154-44...

Re: Transitioning to the Japanese version (Z or Kai?)
I would also recomend you to continue to watch the original Version of the Anime (Episode 154-444) since its fits better together as one Series that way. If the pacing issues might be a dealbreaker to you, you can still watch atleast the Saiyan Arc in its Original form since the pacing there is stil...

Re: What's up with Tenshinhan this arc?
The thing is, Tenshinhan did have a way to retaliate against Frost. If Toyotaro recalled the training underwent back in the Daimao arc and shifted the course of the fighting a bit then maybe Tenshinhan could have achieved an unexpected upset victory. Freeza could have been left gawking in astonishm...

Re: Pros And Cons Of Each DB Series
Dragon Ball Original Anime I do view DB & DBZ as one Series, but instead of giving pro & contra to the whole original Show i decided to split the Series into 3 Eras which i will rate individually. 1. The Adventure Era, from Episode 1 to 78 (Son Goku Arc & Red Ribbon Arc) Pro: Has the mo...

Re: Why Kikuchi didn't compose music for the series after the Saiyan Saga?
I think it was most likely because, with the begin of the 90s (right where the Anime Saiyan Arc ended) Toeianimation started to realese two Dragon Ball Movies per year instead of just one like it was in the 80s where Kikuchi composed one Series package between the Movie packages. With music that had...

Re: MistareFusion's Dragon Ball Dissection! (Updated 3/5/18!)
When I re-read the manga over the last few years Roshi's line before the training, and later Goku's ability to take Raditz seriously and admit he's scared of Nappa and Vegeta instead of excited really stood out to me in contrast with later in the series. I came with my own idea mid-video on how to ...

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Favorite Series.
1. Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z 1986-1996 - I am one those who views DB & DBZ as one Series, which its technical is, since the Manga original is just one series. So i would consider this to be the original Anime Series. Its a very faithfull adaption of its Manga couterpart with added content ...

Re: What Origin movies would you want to see
Sorry that i could not complete this idea on the Day I planed, it took me longer than I though. 3: The Story of Piccolo and Muten Roshi This time around it would be an atleast 2 hour plus Movie, containing some ideas users in this thread already mentioned, like a Movie about the Namekians and their ...

Re: What Origin movies would you want to see
Here comes my next idea for an origin story Special 2: The Story of Yamcha and Puar (and Oolong) It would be a prequel Tv Special that shows how the life of Yamcha and Puar was before they met, how they ended up in Diablo Desert and how they became friends. Since not much details are known about the...

Re: What Origin movies would you want to see
I think for the most part, the origin stories for the Characters would work best as Special Episodes like the Bardock Special or History of Trunks Special, especially if you want many of them. I would like them and since the past for many DB Characters is complety unknown, there would be room for ma...

Here's a fifth version of this thread. The fourth one hadn't had a post in months, so I made a new one. Re: So is Tenshinhan using the Mafuba in the anime King Piccolo arc and surviving no longer a plothole thanks to Super?
Lets not forget, both Mutaito and Roshi were old when they used the Mufuba and they are the only known characters that died using the Mufuba in the Anime & Manga. It could be very posseble that they died because the strain from using the technique was to much for their aged bodys to handle at th...

Re: What do you think about the new Italian DVD release
In the beginning of this year, a new DVD release of DB/DBZ was started and today it was finished with the release of the Last DVD Box. It consists out of 7 DVD Boxes or 2 Big Boxes (one for the DB Part and one for the DBZ Part) and every Box has a truckload of Episodes. Even though the product deta...

I think even the Z portion is 4:3 and that's awesome. Would love this to release here in the West It is a 4:3 release, its listed on the Backcovers. Well look at that! Yeah I'm jealous. How's the quality of the picture itself? Here is a Video where somone talks about the first 2 boxes, but since he...

Re: Where was Cyborg 17 revived?
That would mean he was regenerated alongside Cells body. Thats a bit hard to beleive by me, ececpt we asume he got merged with Cells body enough that he can be consired a biological part of him. But sinse Cell can spit them out if someone hits him hard enough in the stomach, it dosen´t really seem ...

Re: Where was Cyborg 17 revived?
After Cyborg 17 died in Cells explosion on Kaios Planet, where exactly came he back to life when Shenlong revived him? Did Shenlong just teleport him back into the living world, which would be a Plot Hole because he revives people where they died or where their remains are currently. And 17 died in...

Re: Where was Cyborg 17 revived?
I think Shenlong just did Android 17 a solid and brought him back to Earth after he revived him. Sinse he didn´t bring Son Goku back to Earth when he was revived in the Afterlife, it could only be posseble if Dende upgraded the Dragon to do such things, but sinse nothing is about it, it could be ei...
