Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release

but I do wonder how I would feel about these if I saw them at Best Buy or something and they were 9 separate releases at $15-$25 a pop. I feel like they won't do that because this is a collectors edition but if they did I think they might hike the prices a bit as opposed to the Super Series volumes...

Kameha-Con UK cancelled for now

Well, that's a shame but Geekdom101 kind of told us something like this would happen. Even moreso with the whole FUNimation drama. After much consideration, Kameha Con UK has been canceled indefinitely. This was not an easy decision, but due to recent events within the fandom, we have decided this i...

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release

The UUE were a good DBZ release too, Super Saiya Man, but again.. Cancelled! FUNimation can do a proper remaster but they just can't be bothered to because they know a low quality release is just as, if not even more profitable than a high quality one. FUNimation isn't interested in making a respect...

TOEI's Remaster of Dragon Ball Z for Ecuador and Nicaragua

This happened three years ago so this was probably in HD but the question is, what does it look like? Does anyone have evidence of this? Suppose we could assume it's the crappy Season Sets by FUNimation but that's just an assumption. Toei Animation Inc. has launched distribution of the eagerly antic...

Good thing that "free" TV still gets some anime for whomever watches it.

Re: I'm done with the dub

For quite sometime, Funimation staff members started push their political agenda into dubs, and that was main reason i stopped buying their products for over year or so, voting with wallet was always best option :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEXurYaIHao https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7tS0ziL...

Re: How to watch Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball GT legally for free?

In Australia we have all of Dragon Ball, Z, GT, Super plus Movies 2,8 and the Trunks TV special streaming legally on Animelab. That's the one! They won't let me download it via the Play Store so I just downloaded the APK externally from APK, installed, made an account and started watching. It's pre...

Dragon Ball Super: Broly - Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Australian Home Releases (Blu-ray/DVD)

Looks pretty decent. It features the movie on Blu-ray and 5 Art Cards for €24.90. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81sW6MMqA5L._SL1500_.jpg https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/91MKhP7bdjL._SL1500_.jpg But if I'm being frank, this feels a bit overpriced and incomplete. Re: Some interesting info regarding the UK ratings of Z and the different dubs

Y'all can't be too surprised that anime on British TV is kind of a flop because let's be honest, the TV License is a con which many believe that if you own a TV, Monitor, Smartphone, Tablet or whatever capable of watching TV then you're forced to pay up. Not the case. Here's what it really is about:...

Re: Pirated Games on Playstore

There are a lot but it's kind of more annoying seeing shameless developers use the icon of PowerAmp to mislead people into thinking their app is amazing.

Anyway, there's only one Dragon Ball game I've ever liked on Android and that's Tap Battle.

With Netflix upgrading their audio quality, Netflix would be a good home for Ocean Kai. It would perhaps be a Netflix UK/CA exclusive.

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release

Welp, the pre-order period ends tomorrow. They haven't given any updates since the original blog post so I will assume the end product will look like their screenshots. It sure would be disappointing if they did make improvements and didn't say anything about them. That would be the ultimate cherry...

Re: Why did Toei change Broly’s hair color?

Probably to make Broly's transformation seem more unique and menacing compared to the typical SSJ transformation. Makes perfect sense from a marketing standpoint. Agreed. Would add to make it more original as well. Green Super Saiyan hair is kinda cool especially on Broli. We had a consistent Blue ...

Okay, it's Officially Licensed but those art cards don't look as appealing as the Manga UK ones, for me. Their art cards (by ABY) sort of look unofficial but that's just me I guess.

Yes, he can buy those bootleg art cards but he prefers the real ones. Like, you generally buy genuine figures, right? He likes genuine products, too.

When saying 'he', that could be me and others, too.

I’m curious how many people out there calling this total trash own or have owned in the past a set of the orange bricks. I know you’re out there somewhere. Now there’s a trash release. The truth is that the Season Sets on DVD, Season Sets on Blu-ray and the Black Brick are all mediocre home release...

Yes, and fans tried their best attempts to remove the green tint.
