You can't really say "yes" or "no" to this question. One fan could write junk, while another could write a fan favorite story.

SSJ5 is probably the only surefire thing that would have definitely shown up sooner or later.

Yeah, apart from some minor character development and such, and some interesting lore; there really isn't much to the story.

With the huge influx of 30 something pseudo intellectuals lately trying to make out everything has hidden depths, it's good to admit some series are just dumb fun.

I've never really had a problem with the "real bands" scores since the DBZ movies always had less plot than the main series, and you were pretty much just watching 40-60 minutes of characters punching each other. Drowning Pool and Disturbed music works just fine for that.
