I'm no one to say that opinions are wrong, but this is one where A LOT of people would disagree with you, and a prime example of why people are glad he's not in charge this time around. It was the most successful financially of every movie they've ever made. The only one that really even compares i...

Re: I'm not watching the dub on Toonami anymore (my reasoning)
You're right, this is pretty pointless...The Japanese version also airs one episode per week (one episode per TWO weeks, as it is currently), so I don't understand the argument here?...

I have never heard Battle Point Unlimited in my life. What the hell are you doing with your life? Sit down somewhere comfy, put on some headphones, close your eyes and listen. Battle Point Unlimited is probably my favorite song of all-time, and I'm not just talking about DBZ songs. And it's p...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread
Vale has this strange ability to make Trunks sound constantly smarmy, sarcastic, annoyed, and overall just unlikeable, when that's completely out of character. He's supposed to be humble and respectful in these recent scenes, yet I think he just kinda comes off as a little shithead in a lot of the ...

Considering that several people in this thread, myself included, seem to recall reading this quote / article some time back, I'd say you can't just dismiss it as "not being real". I'm not imagining things here.VegettoEX wrote:This is not real and should not be given any mental real estate.

Re: Has anyone noticed spoken dialogue being slightly off sync with lip flaps in Japanese Z?
I've heard that in general the Japanese aren't as concerned about lip flaps when dubbing as we are, and since they record lines after its animated they don't mind being a little sloppy with the flaps as long as the acting sounds natural. And this is why I never watch anime in Japanese. Such lazines...

There's a rule in this world, you break the law, you go to jail. Watching anything online illegally is well...illegal. It's copyright infringment if it's on youtube, and if you're watching illegally it's basically like stealing. If it were up to me there would be "internet police" that tr...

Re: Are the Japanese voices of Dragon Ball too much recycled and full of Miscast?
Yeah, Japanese cast isn't very good tbh...Very miscast as you put it! You're not answering the actual question at hand, specifically regarding the recycling of actors/actresses in to multiple roles. Your (single-sentence) posts thus far seem to be focused around promoting your love of FUNimation's ...

Re: Who could have been the best successor to Kikuchi?
All these Japanese composers sound far too retro and outdated. What Dragon Ball needs is a fresh new sound. Fresh like Faulconer was on the dub. Fuck yeah. 8) are you trolling? No, i was not trolling. I grew up listening to the Faulconer soundtrack! And I like it a lot! Do you accuse anyone of not ...
