A good portion of Japanese Wii games still won't work on American modded systems regardless of which modchip you use. Naruto Shippuuden is one of those :(

This thread has made me laugh at all the non-believers over the years :D yes bcuz u r so smart and so much more informed then us mere mortals that u treat ur opinion as fact Anyway, I could sworn that a consensus was reached that it is not an OVA. But there still seem to be people who are desperate...

MrE would be great. We need a nice lineup of guests that once cursed the entire community and then the world. Then we could have our friends from Anime Labs on the show! Novelty photo of Vincent (right) of Anime Labs and the guy (Sheldon? Shelton? I forget his name) from Project X (the group that fa...

Also keep in mind that Goku is the kind of guy who will give Cell a senzu bean because he's more concerned with having a good fight rather than ensuring the Earth stays in one piece. That's pretty damn selfish. It's not like Goku didn't intend to get rid of him eventually either.

It's a popular marketing term this side of the ocean that gets thrown around to make rare pieces of media sound cooler.

The old DBZ DVD's have been selling for cheap for quite a while now. I've seen used discs go for $5 and even lower. However, deepdiscountdvd.com is selling Freeza saga discs at $8.99 which includes shipping. A pretty decent price if you're into buying these things.

It's the official Funimation website so of course they're going to be hyping their own products. At least the interviews were somewhat unique.

Everything big always seems to go completely out of style for a little while after it stops being "all the rage". Remember those years when it became uncool and kiddy to admit liking your ninja turtles and cartoons? I think people will eventually get over the backlash. I guess it's just a ...

The manga is awesome and I'd be nice to marathon it all over a few nights sometime. From all these stupid changes though, it won't be this version anym...

Just broke out the damn tape collection and yes, Goku and Vegeta are telling me it's Burouri. If you're going to really Americanize the pronounciation, it would almost certainly be Broil-ee (like broccoli without the c as the original poster said). I think the Budokai 3 got it wrong... I'll have to ...

My theory, Funimation is going to wait until the end of 2005 when DBZ is starting to wind down, then they'll release the Pilaf saga, and DB movies 1&2 together with it. It'd be cool if they even can. Sometimes I wonder if the people at Funimation even know when their contract ends. Or perhaps t...

I never got why Viz would skip a whole large chunk of the YuGiMon manga. To keep up with the anime? Is it even still on? And, ugh, I also noticed when I saw an episode of the Shaman King show on Fox that its logo said "Shonen Jump's Shaman King." So probably Viz and FUNi have some sort of...
