I don't have the time to read the OP in tis entirety right now, but here in my country, BoG was released in October, so it's still kinda a long way from turning 10 years.

The original comic will get a new animated adaption someday. You just need to be patient. Are there any examples of that happening for other anime? I can only think of reboots like FMA Brotherhood, HxH, and new DQ to adapt more of the source material. The original manga has already been fully adapt...

Can Hokuto no Ken be considered *THE* precursor to Dragon Ball? Did it influence it? If so, was it in a minor or major way?
