No -- for now, on the Raging Blast 2 game disc, it will be in Japanese (w/ English subtitles) only. See our August 18th update.

Would they really just put out a 30 minute dvd for the Dub? How long was the Jump special?

I just wish we would get clear answers on these characters; transformations or not, and what-ifs and returning characters Vs new ones; it's all too confusing.

It's like 36 minutes or something...

I don't get what is so confusing anymore. I made the chart, the numbers work out to exactly how we were told. There are five slots left, 1 returning fighter, 2 new fighters, and 2 what-if fighters left. That may not be what we actually get, but nothing contradicts it right now.

Where was it said there would be another 2 what-ifs?

I don't get the logic the developers had with the new characters and returning characters. It's in no way even or popular [but I guess they don't go w/ most popular].

Game Informer France interview, said "two character specifically created for this game". Meaning they haven't been in any other official media, hence what-ifs.
Though I don't know what you are complaining about, the only bad additions to this game IMO so far are Zangya and Dore (if he is actually in). I didn't really want Cui, but now that Vegeta has Dirty Fireworks, the move he killed Cui with, I don't mind him since I can just repeatedly explode him by just pointing my fingers. xD Oh, Nail was a kinda "meh" choice too at first, but then I realized the game needed more heroes added in.

Zangya expanded on the Bojack movie and gives people another girl warrior worth something; Dore I'll kind of agree on, I would MUCH rather have had that other henchman over him since the other one has a better character design. I like Cui's character design so I'm cool with him.

My two worthless ones would be Cell Jr. and Saibamen, there were plenty other characters they could have gone with instead. And from RB1, I'd have added ANYONE over Videl.

Where is Metal Cooler and Garlic Jr.? They have their OWN MOVIES and Garlic Jr. has a saga. Cyborg Frieza is always a good choice too yet these people are nowhere to be seen.

I don't like henchmen regardless of if it expands on anything, they are still useless IMO. Neither of them should have made the cut, they could have given me Mecha Coola and Kid Uub or Pan instead. The Cell Jr. and Saibaman give us a lot of expansion on the Cell Game and Saiyan invasion. I like beating the living hell out of the Z Senshi with those midgets. And Videl's awesome, she's a ki using Mr. Satan, gotta love her.

Bah, it's opinions anyway, we'll never agree.

EDIT: They have to save something good from Z left for RB3, or else we'll just complain that all we are getting are henchmen, and GT if included.

Do you not like them because they "aren't strong enough to your liking"? Every henchmen that I can think of either had a really cool and different character design or beat the crap out of someone or had a really cool move to use. Videl is by far the weakest character in the game, but Mr. Satan has a more wide variety of moves.

I'm excited to get more movie characters [let's call them that since apparently people automatically thing of "useless weaklings"]. You gotta think about it, pretty much every movie henchmen would be able to beat anyone Pre-Namek saga character.

Henchmen in the series actually accomplish something though, the Saibaimen fought and one killed Yamcha. The Cell Juniors fought and beat the living hell out of the Z Senshi leading to the emotional upsurge that allowed 16 to help snap Gohan into a SS2. Who cares if the movie henchmen had good designs, beat someone up or have a cool attack? When is the last time they actually DID anything of merit? It has nothing to do with power, almost all the movies follow the same plot which makes them obsolete. Coola, Bojack, Broli, everyone could have easily come to earth by themselves and their movie would have been no different, because at the end, Toei has to have everything return to normal. Because they are bound by telling a story that could possibly fit into a section of the time line, they don't take creative liberties and tell interesting stories. So I say get the main character for the movie out of the way and then stop.

Had they made Bojack's movie an alternate universe after the Cell Game, and had Bido and Gokua kill Tenshinhan and Yamcha, and have Bojack kill Piccolo and Kuririn or something. Force Gohan to get mad, regret what happened, feel pain, actually realize that he is the protector of earth now, that just because he beat Cell doesn't mean there aren't more strong guys out there that can be ever worse, something like that might stir my interest. But instead all Bojack's henchmen leave everyone unconscious, Gohan gets his desire to fight from Goku, and everything ends just like it began. No troubles, no deaths, no consequences.

Not every fighter in the game needs to be the badass of the universe, and of course character designs and attacks are important. The main point of the game is ATTACKING. It would be dull if everyone had a generic beam and blast.

Never said they had to be badasses. Even IMO, I would hardly qualify a Cell Jr. as a badass, especially after Gohan owned each one in one hit, but I do find them interesting and important. And the main characters of the movies are typically the ones that have the most time spent on them, so they often have the most interesting designs and attacks, at least IMO...though Tullece is a huge exception, tan Goku clones are meh. xD

Though I'm going to drop this here and now so we can get back to the topic at hand...how awesome RB2 is going to be! xD

Who is looking forward to seeing what new moves characters get from Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans? I know the first scan revealing the special that Herms translated said that Freeza would be attacking with new skills we had not yet seen, meaning he's getting Ghost Warrior moves! Perhaps he'll have his team attack with Tullece?!

I never watched the original footage but it would be nice to see what all they got. We all know Slug needs some new stuff [from atleast BT3]. We saw SS Vegeta with a blue final flash so maybe they are digging down deeper into more random things the characters did in the show.

Has anyone brought up Master Roshi? I know he isn't the strongest around but he DOES fight in Z and he wasn't in the first one right? I know they won't add him, but we can add him to the list of people they missed adding.

Freeza already has a ton of moves, so Ghost Warrior moves may be overkill, but nice nonetheless. Coola and Tullece would probably be okay without new moves too, but once again including them would be nice. Slug though...he needs a lot of new stuff and bad. xD Vegeta got his new Final Flash, makes me wonder if Goku will get an alternate Super Kamehameha as an exchangeable Ultimate in Super Saiyan. Trunks and Gohan may get new ones too, but I can't think of anything spectacular off the top of my head.

You know, I wonder if my whole debate at Goku's Corner was useless... perhaps in the remake, Vegeta fires that blue Final Flash like a normal Final Flash instead of the overhead quickie blast in the original. Only time will tell I suppose. Maybe Spike did get it 100% accurate?

For whatever reason, GK isn't letting me sign in for the past week, but they have some ridiculously 'out of left field' threads over there.

I'd like to see that Instant transmission spirit bomb in the game if thats how they went in the special.

Nah I think it was two human players check this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bl4Pe4AAp1c and after watching the new trailer I'm pretty sure that was just a blue/green Final Flash. The impact scene was the same as a yellow one. Also I noticed that Gotenks Buu has pink electricity around him so now I'm guessing we can select a color of plasma aura once we start getting into customization. I say this because Majin Vegeta has red electricity and anybody eles who had electricty (SSJ2/Super Perfect Cell) has blue plasma aura, hopfully they have more than those 3 colors I would love some black or white or maybe even green electric aura. One thing I am disappointed in is that not every ultimate will have its own unique impact scene like I first thought, unless they are new. It would seem as though the explosion waves have their own, the ball attacks have their own and the beams have their own.

I'll still hold out hope that it was AI. I like to put up a fight against an AI opponent, but I won't complain as long as the AI doesn't get worse.

I still think that blue Final Flash is the one from the special. We don't know how it will be animated this time around, but in game, the two Final Flashes were the exact same except for the beginning scenes slightly different angle and the amount of debris in the follow up. I could easily see Spike's solution to the other Final Flash being to recolor one of them and add a bit of a hazy effect around Vegeta.

Though different spark colors for us to put on the characters ourselves is kinda interesting. The one thing that I hope changes though is the sound effects for when we change our auras. I gave SS3 Broly the green aura that "LSS" Broly had, but I was upset that it didn't change to the correct sound effect too.
