DB: Origins 2 - Help, can't advance from battling Gunso

I want to continue playing Dragon Ball: Origins 2 as I'm enjoying it very much but when I've gotten to the Red Ribbon stage which has the robot Gunso he kills me every time and I don't know what I should do to defeat him.

I'm aware of when he punches the ground that I should use the tail to jump over areas when possible though other than that, like, punching him and using the Nyoibou doesn't do much damage at all.
