So I'm learning more.
Where do I see what each characters clicky buff does?
Where do I see what the items do?
You mean the Main Ability, activated by tapping the character's portrait? To see that, touch and hold the character's picture when setting up your party, and then tap "show details," and then to the Ability tab.
What items you talking about?
A) Cool
B ) The ones you equpt to the characters.
Yamcha almost certainly did not cheat on Bulma:
He was afraid of Women, Bulma was the flirty one.
Yamcha wanted to get married (it was his gonna be his wish)
He suggested they settle down in the Trunks saga. Alternate future Trunks is not a reliable source.
Toriyama wanted new SSJ Kids and not make new characters.

The game was pretty easy at launch, but I can imagine the horror and confusion of recent newcomers, as even I was puzzled by some new events and mechanics introduced later...
Exactly. I'm glad I started playing Legends two months after its release (July/2018) so I had time to grow and understand the game more through several updates, also collect a bunch of characters. Can't imagine what would be if I started now... probably would be overwhelmed by so many content and information.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

I started a bit under a year ago. It took a little bit to put it all together, but it wasn't that bad. Not like trying to learn a Zachtronics game or anything.
We find out who survived out of the Nappa/Ginyu fight?
We know Saiyan saga Vegeta is dead?
Do we see Saiyan saga Piccolo and Gohan who went looking for Goku again?
Do we ever kill the specific Broly we saw at the begining?
Do we ever see the SS1 Trunks and Goku who helped us fight that Broly at the start?
Do we see the Ten/Yamcha/Kuririn gang from the early game again?
I'm enjoying it, I have SS1 Shallot now and I'm pleasntly suprised at the plot/characterisation.
It helped having rock bottom expectations lol.

Yes

No, as far as we know, Broly killed that Trunks.
And I don't think so.

Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Tomorrow we have Super 17's Zenkai dropping. First GT release since the 2nd anniversary, and he does indeed buff green GT units with his Zenkai ability, so with that, it's safe to say that a renewed focus on GT releases in on the way. Gogeta must surely be on the horizon. Still skipping on it myself but it'll be nice to see some other tags in PVP. I imagine in the near term people will just try to shove him on their droids team, but it's hard to imagine him overtaking some of the other green units there.
Power scalings a bit wacky but anyone else enjoy the story line?
I've got up to the part where Gohan is training us for the super cell games.
Cabba needs to get his fucking shit together.
Gutted a Piccolo died but if the plot is resolved I'm sure all the timeliens will be ok.
How do I tell if I have all the cards in a set, and thus shouldn't waste crystals on em?

Okay. Just finished the newest chapter of the story.
Spoiler:
WTF? I suspected Zahha of being a secret villain, but now he strikes? Why? Is he actually still a good guy, trying to earn the big bad's trust and fake Shallot's death, or is this for real? Argh. Cliffhangers...

Definitly a 'pretends to be bad to get closer to big bad' sorta deal. Like, I might have believed the betrayal was legitimate if he didn't choose to stab Shallot in the back in a situation where Shallot clearly wasn't going to be a threat to the big bad.

Spoiler:
That's what I was thinking too. I've been a little suspicious of Zahha, but this feels like a fakeout. Shallot is already completely worn out. There's no way he's going to be able to defend himself again without a heal. My guess is Zahha is using some kind of illusion magic to make it seem like Shallot is dead, so the bad guys leave him alone to recover. Since he's standing behind Shallot, he could even be whispering in his ear, telling him to just go with it. The reactions of Bulma and Jaco could help sell the illusion, since they think it is real. So now the wizard guy is going to recruit Zahha and take Bulma and Jaco prisoner. Once Shallot and Giblet have recovered, they'll probably team up and attack the bad guy at his secret base, where Zahha leads them, of course.
So who was the genius who said, "You know what people love about XV2? Doing raids solo, with useless AI that constantly gets itself killed. We should put that in Legends." I don't even care that much about the new Super Saiyan Goku (as if we didn't have enough of those), but that raid-style battle you're forced to do with a Piccolo AI is annoyingly difficult.
I'm glad people didn't completly satisfy my curiosity.
I've got to Super saiyan god and the zamasu chapter, which I guess is the second to last part so far.
I really liked how they bought back all the people you met so far except for saiyan saga humans (they kind of narratively replaced them with the cell games arc humans)
(Majin) Vegeta was wanked way too much and I got really bored of fighting Buu over and over again.
They are leaving it a bit late for us to give a shit about or be emotionally invested in the hooded villain.
Giblets a moron and his motivation sucks, "I'm bitter we lost so now I'll kill all saiyans even the good ones" ok cool story bro.
I like how they had Beerus be held at bay with supreme kai. But they are starting to push their luck with them not realising he is involved, and I don't see why he wouldn't just kill SK and Beerus anyway...
Goku is supposed to be held at bay by his known association with Beerus but again he keeps sticking his nose in a lot.
It's hard to believe Nappa escaped alive.
Bardocks still annoyingly tsundere, shame Nappa didn't go off with them and have some friends.
I'm getting bored of the gameplay I'm hoping to finish it today tbh I just want closure on the story at this point.
I really wonder if the hooded guy in Heroes will be Shallot or something but we'll see.

How often do they release chapters.
Do they ever plan on ending it?
Haven't noticed a pattern for story mode releases.
Good question. It seems to me like the story is getting close to finished. My guess is the main story will be close to done once Shallot gets to Super Saiyan Blue, but I suspect they'll continue to extend the story for as long as the game is successful and popular. Maybe next, we'll get a story mode centered around Zahha, since we still know next to nothing about him.

Around every few months, I think.
The Devs have stated recently that they don't have an ending yet and aren't getting to it any time soon.

Hoping at some point they start doing their own What If forms like Heroes, after all there is only so much they can use from the anime and movies before being left with nothing new to hype people to keep playing the game, would they even be allowed to do such things i wonder? like maybe the people in charge of Heroes are the only ones allowed to innovate like that and every other piece of media can only use what Heroes already made?

I don't think the devs have something forbidding them from making what if forms. They've created their own characters to use (Shallot and Zahha), have used a character from other Dragon Ball games that don't exist in the series (Android 21 and her forms. And considering Dimps also made Xenoverse, they've used Demigra, Fuu and Super Saiyan 3 Bardock), and I wouldn't be surprised if they start taking some Heroes characters sooner or later. I'd say it's more a question of if they think such forms would be marketable enough at the moment when they have other characters (or the same one with new moments to take from) still to make into Units.
Same with most of the other Dragon Ball games, it's not a question of 'if' they can do it, but if they need to when Dragon Ball already has a huge cast of characters to pull from.
