This was my thinking also. I hope this doesn't delay Ocean Kai.

As Solidus has already mentioned on the UK DragonBall forums, Scott McNeil mentioned some names from the Boo arc during his "screw the NDA" moment from a convention last year.

The names he mentioned were South Kaio, Dabura, and... Majin Boo...
As in Fat Boo?

That was one of the voices I hoped would be replaced :x . Hopefully he can do a completely different voice, because if I have to sit through 30 something episodes of "Brain-damaged Baby Boo", I will be forced to strangle the nearest living thing.

Seriously what's next, Terry Klassen reprising Babidi? Oh please no

As long as he doesn't reprise Master Roshi, I'll take his Babidi and Guldo any day.

Yea I wasn't too fond of his Roshi either but I doubt he'll voice the character in Kai. His Guldo and Babidi were fairly good though. I wonder if he will even be recast as Kuririn.

Woooaaahhhhh... So it is definitely happening. This is great, looks like I'll be owning Kai at least three times. Funi Yamamoto, Funi Kikuchi, and Ocean.

Yeah, it's been confirmed from multiple sources (namely the actors) that it is indeed happening, however the long two and a half year wait has made everyone here wonder what has (or is) halting the production..

From talking to Drummond and hearing McNeil in the video, I think that they wish they did finish DBZ the first run around. Drummond said it was really fun. Well, I'm glad that they get to do it one last time. :D

Now I'm wondering if they'll dub the Buu saga before this dub premieres, since it's still being worked on.

"Over saturation is easy. Just drag the slider to the right and there you are: instant interest. And certainly, the majority of the public likes saturated color images. In fact, if you want to quickly create a popular image, simply over saturate the colors and increase the contrast. While you may not achieve a sophisticated image, you will achieve an image that will please a less demanding audience." - Alain Briot

I guess we can expect to see their Buu arc dub in 2072.

By the way, there IS gonna be a new actor for Goku, as well as for a bunch of other characters, but I don't know which ones specifically. Apparently they outsourced some of the recording to Edmonton, so I'm not sure what studios might be out there and therefore some of the talent pool available to pull from. I guess when it starts airing we'll find out.

Wow, I really like that picture of SSJ2 Gohan they used.

To somebody who knows better...who is this "CSC Media," that the Toei report mentions?

It appears they also own KixTV which we heard sometime ago that Kai would supposedly be airing on.

Did it? As I understand it, it has merely been confirmed that Kai will air this month on UK TV, and many fans--myself included--just assumed it was the Ocean dub.

Yeah still no 100% confirmation on if it's going to be the Ocean dub airing on this, but I know for certain it's been recorded. It might only be for Canada, who knows.

Yeah, could be. I'm hoping--and betting--that it's the Ocean dub, though. For two reasons:

1) The UK was one of the countries that got the Ocean/Westwood dub of DBZ back when it was airing on TV.
2) Somebody feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong (I live in the U.S., so I can't say this with complete certainty)....but if I remember correctly, the Ocean/Westwood dub of DBZ, despite being recorded in Canada, actually aired in the UK first.
