Well this contradict's what FUNimation said earlier about this having the original Japanese score. Can anyone with the dvd confirm if it is Yamato's score?

Well, they still have the original Japanese score, it's just Yamamoto's score.

It is also the Kikuchi score on the DVD sets. Skip to around the 6:47 mark for an explanation where the user says he watched only the DVD version.

Nope the Blu-ray version also has the Yamamoto score.

Got the blu-ray season set today and it is the Yamaoto score.

Well that's really weird. Hope we get some kind of explanation about that. The whole idea of repackaging those, to me, was all about that music situation.

If that's the way it is, I could just get the Wal-Mart bundled sets instead. XD

Sent an e-mail. I wrote:

"Hey, Product Concerns, I was planning on buying Dragon Ball Z Kai Season 1, but from some reports, I learned that these sets have the Yamamoto musical score, the score from the Dragon Ball Z Kai Parts 1-4 sets, instead of Shunsuke Kikuchi's music from the original Dragon Ball Z, and Kai Parts 5-6. I was planning on buying these sets so I could have consistency between the sets, if I wanted the Yamamoto score, I would buy the Kai "Parts". Is this going to be fixed or is it permanent?"

The two times I've sent them an e-mail, they've replied to me. Although those were simple questions about upcoming things. I have no idea how they're going to respond to these.

I'll be surprised if they did redub Young's laugh, considering they didn't change the score.

Maybe they reached a deal with Toei allowing them to use the score at the last second. I know companies make mistakes sometimes but this is just too big to have been overlooked!

On topic though...I'm honestly surprised. I was considering double-dipping, in time, to have the two scores. Guess I can thank FUNi for saving me the cash. ;p
