Gohan went form getting pummeled by first form Freeza to fighting final form Freeza. That's my boy.

Speaking of this episode, Roshi has officially won my respect. Dude has my favorite showing of the tournament so far.

I usually don't like to gloat, but today's episode really did give me some "I told you so" satisfaction. The ending theory ended up being no more than a coincidence after all.
What bothers me now is the part where U6 and U7 were going to have 8 fighters left each according to that poster. This is no longer the case. If it was stating the standings at the time instead, then "32 fighters in all" was wrong, because we're only now at 33. There's no way that the page wasn't lying in some form.

There were supposed to be 32 fighters by the time we reach the special, and right now we are at 33.

You can't cut an if-then statement in half. You'll lose context. Your reply doesn't consider the if, only the then.
Here's my logic in its most straightforward form:
- If the poster info was for the special, then the claim that U6 and U7 would have 8 remaining fighters each is false.
- If the poster info was for the standings at the time of release (after Episode 106), then the claim that there were 32 fighters remaining is false.

Well, great, now that the "8 fighters until the special " guarantee has evaporated I'm back to biting my nails. Next episode is Gohan being in trouble and that usually spells doom for another character

That would be all sorts of stupid if Toppo was eliminated by any combination of Kale/Caulifla/Cabba.

Cabba and Caulifla don't stand the slightest chance against him, and Kale might be able to do damage to him, but it doesn't seem like she can maintain her berserk form for long.

Just incredibly silly if this happened.

Makes sense! That'd be fine too. I just have my fingers crossed for something in the off week. The hype for the special with no episode will be...difficult.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a PV that is pretty much the NEP for 109 with some scenes from 110 thrown in sometime after the One Piece special airs, kind of taking the place of a 110 NEP that we would have gotten if 109 and 110 weren't being aired back to back.
