The spoilers already confirmed that Goku and Vegeta won't manage anything against Jiren, so this power up will probably be useless.

Mostlikely. My guess is that the power up will get him up to ssb kaioken x20 goku, that way they fight together as equals.

I wonder if the new ending gives any indication of how the TOP will conclude?

With Gohan and 17 busy with Toppo and Freeza fighting Dyspo I think there's a high chance it ends with those 2 fighting and taking him down. Then again ending 9 had him and Gohan at the end so we can't fully take what it shows as proof.

This is a doozy of a line:

They might be bringing in complete Blue from the manga and giving it to him to put him of Goku's kaioken blue level.

In that case, it’s kind of misleading that they had him standing side by side with Ultra Instinct Goku in the ending.

Edit: Also he'd have to be close to gaining the power anyway because just picking a fight with Jiren is not going to magically grant him the ability. Jiren is just the ideal opponent for the final push.

Vegeta being able to see through Jiren's punches must've been something related to UI or otherwise he would've ended up like Goku.

I'm praying to Kami that's just bad artwork because if its not Ultra Instinct is already convoluted, its already as big a headache as god ki, and having Goku and Vegeta possess different looking forms is just going to make it worse.

There's a lot to notice. You've got him and Goku standing besides each other so if that doesn't mean they're close in power it definitely mean they're in importance. Then there's the aura, they both have the same one and like you said the eyes.

Another major thing is that from all the 8 universes, it's Vegeta who's standing with Goku and not Jiren which I think means U11 will be knocked out by the end.

No, the summaries we have of 123 seem to basically be talking about the aftermath of 122, which happens a lot.
Vegeta losing to Jiren and being seriously injured = the end of episode 122.

It's possible that Vegeta unlocks the offensive side of UI, and together with Goku they use both against Jiren.

Its good to know that Vegeta has caught up to goku without the exception of UI. Vegeta mastering ssb was the best logical step Toei could have done. Its better than Vegeta jumping straight into UI. Also Vegeta has accomplished something no one ever has, put Jiren on his ass.

I'm not sure, but based off of one preview mentioning a situation where Gohan couldn't bring himself to knock 17 and Toppo off (or something to that degree, don't remember exactly) and it leads to something happening, I have a feeling that it'll be 17 possibly being the next to go.

I might be wrong but close up to each participant in this episode was show in specific order which may indicate the elimination order. It goes like this
Close up to C17 then Freezer, Dyspo, Gohan, Toppo, Vegeta and finally Goku and Jiren in one shot.
