I can't believe this. It's like Christmas came 3 centuries early. I'm in utter awe that this is even possible. I only pray for simulcasting, or even simuldubbing, anything to see this. I haven't been this excited for YEARS.

I'm excited but cautious simply because I hope this will make some of the older characters--Piccolo, Krillin, Gohan, Goten relevant. As fun as BOG and ROF are, it's hard to hold a series with just 2 characters as heroes, even if they are Goku and Vegeta. I want to see where they take ALL these characters, not just those 2.
That said, I'm also intrigued if this is going to simply fill the gap between the end of Buu and the end of the series or if they're going to redo the series' end entirely. In any event, exciting news and I can't wait to see what comes from this new series! I'm hoping for more expansion on the other universes!

Pretty stoked to see how this turns out. Definitely hoping for at least a simulcast with a dub home release announced in the near future. Then again...still waiting for the Buu Kai dub. I wonder if we'll see an announcement from FUNi about this before Kai.

You know that the epilogue's inclusion is always debatable in such statements.
New movies are written like a continuation to the manga, yet happen before the two epilogue chapters.
If I'm not mistaken, some promo also label the new movies as "happening after the Z series" or "as sequels of the Z series", yet again it's before Oob.
And as the epilogue with Oob is just a short epilogue, it can be considered as included in the Majin Boo saga.

So, it can be interpreted as before or after Oob's arrival at the point. We need more specific details.
But I think Toriyama hasn't changed in mind: he said that he made the new movies in this era because there was nothing good to do after the epilogue with Oob as characters are too old.
I think his story about the new show will be in direct continuation to Resurrection 'F', keeping in with what happened during the 10 years gap, with Goku and Vegeta still being Whis' pupils to begin with, with Beerus, perhaps with the other universes at some point. But we'll see.

They seriously need to call this show Super Dragon Ball (Z or no Z at the end) instead of Dragon Ball Super, if only because the bad grammar makes me want to punch something.

Xenoverse was the first time I was disappointed by the animation. I think it's an exception.
Not even the worst shots of the crossover got to me, sometimes I just noticed them, but it didn't really get to me.
But with Xenoverse, it looked so cheap that I really think it was the one exception!
