Well, it's 1 AM in my timezone and I have to study tomorrow, so good night and best of luck to everyone who wants to record the trailer.

But we're getting real close to our first glimpse of Super. And with that, the internet will explode again.

Just here, sitting at my cabin in the middle of the woods during a storm with a crappy connection and waiting for news on Super.... Good times...

It will make the internet explode for sure.
But I feel as if Toei could have done a way better job of hyping this thing up. I don't think they understand how popular Dragon Ball still is - or can be - around the world.
Heck, the whole reason why they even did the Kai 2.0 was because of DBKai's success internationally, no?

I visit the site for ages when it was still daizenshuu and almost never post on forum, but hell is this one historical moment for us fans!
Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
As i said a few pages back, tv promos are usually 15 seconds, very rarely 30, but never longer.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:After seeing (err reading) so many people excited I actually hope it is a 10 second teaser that people are fearing
It's not realistic to expect a long, detailed trailer. We'll definitely see new footage, but very quickly, so having low expectations is smart.
Hell, maybe the visual key they're promising for Monday will be more revealing, as we'll probably be able to see who are the main characters and new villains.
Well, internationally, there isn't much they can do at this point other than offer a simulcast/simuldub (which is still too early to be announced).StrawHatPatriot wrote:But I feel as if Toei could have done a way better job of hyping this thing up. But maybe they'll start hyping it up more this week.

Yeah, Kai 2.0 only happened because there was demand from the international for more Dragon Ball following Kai 1.0. But considering that ROF is gonna be released in more than 70 countries worldwide, I think Toei has a good grasp of how popular Dragon Ball is around the globe.StrawHatPatriot wrote:It will make the internet explode for sure.

This reminds me of the countdown to Harry Potter book five's midnight release. I feel almost the same as I did way back then, counting down at the bookstore party.

True. I just wish they could have revealed this earlier (or pushed the date of the series later so that other dubs could get it closer to release). Dragon Ball has the ability to a legit event in some places, so they could have prepared this better. But hey, we will see.Lord Beerus wrote:Yeah, Kai 2.0 only happened because there was demand from the international for more Dragon Ball following Kai 1.0. So this is what it's led to. It's almost 1am, I'm staying up for an episode of Kai, for a short tease of Super. Gotta love Japanese TV, though.

Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
If it is 15 seconds, which I assume it will be, that is more than enough if they are showing the main visual. I'm so excited, I'm shaking!!!
