Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
They did dub hello, hello! They both sound great!

So glad that Toei is letting international parties dub the songs for super, after making their "international versions" of songs for the recent movies and DB Final chapters, which were pretty much indecipherable English.
Now then, Toei, let other countries dub One Piece openings again!

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
Gives me hope that FUNi will dub it now. The singer sounds like the one who did Head Cha-La. As for OP they can't dub them because AVEX said no dubbed songs a while ago.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
I know the whole story, I just wish Avex wasn't so stubborn. I really liked to hear listening to covers from around the world, especially for the OP songs.DB_Fan1991 wrote:Gives me hope that FUNi will dub it now. Also, in the Hebrew credits, it lists stary star light pink, and forever dreaming, so maybe we'll be getting those endings dubbed too?

Well, I think that for Super Toei will let the countries that want it dub the songs. Israel, Portugal and many others will have the songs dubbed.wjbraden wrote:They did dub hello, hello! They both sound great!

For Kai Final Chapters I know that all countries that aired/will air it didn't dubbed the songs, like Taiwan or France, or they wanted, but they were forbidden of doing it, like Catalonia. The only exceptions I actually think in this case were Mexico/Latin America and Brazil, that probably will have "Fight it Out" and "let it down" dubbed in spanish and portuguese.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
I wonder if the original VAs returned to their roles in the Hebrew dub.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
I really hope that South Korea has dubbed Chozetsu Dynamic, too.
We will find out on the 19th
Good to see Toei letting International licensees dub the opening.
A shame they can't do that with One Piece any more due to AVEX.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
I wonder what's keeping the english dubbed. Last hit we had was Beerus' voice actor.
Edit: I'm guessing it's because American networks don't like foreign shows. I remember when anime was Cartoon Network's thing.
Now it's just a bunch of shows animated the exact same way. that spaghetti limbs, capsule body, animation that's all the rave these days.
Well whatever, hopefully it finds respectable air time.

That's wonderful to hear. Avi Maor is the closest sounding to Masako Nozawa as Goku. I'm going to guess that Vegeta is still being called Makita and Freeza will still be Paris when he shows up later.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
I'm very surprised that Columbia and Victor Entertainment are letting them do this as none of these were dubbed for Taiwan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVELNC7qs68 Granted, that's China, but I honestly thought that was why some of the artists were making English versions of the songs

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
The Mandarin dubs have always kept the songs in Japanese.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
So I was just told that the Hebrew dub apparently is translating from fansubs, since an infamous fansub mistranslation in episode 5 saying that "A Super Saiyan 2 punch can send you to another dimension" apparently made an appearance in this dub.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
Goodness, they could at least take from your work if they're going through the effort of using alternate, unofficial translations. I'm assuming that actually happened anyway.Puto wrote:So I was just told that the Hebrew dub apparently is translating from fansubs, since an infamous fansub mistranslation in episode 5 saying that "A Super Saiyan 2 punch can send you to another dimension" apparently made an appearance in this dub.

Re: Chozetsu Dynamic dubbed in Hebrew
We'll see with episode 19 (with the "origami" translation of Pafu Subs) if they're translating with fansubs.

Hopefully they're translating using good fan subs sometimes...Psykomatik wrote:We'll see with episode 19 (with the "origami" translation of bad fansubs) if they're translating with fansubs.

The Korean dub apparently began already. Can't find a high quality version, but they've dubbed Chozetsu Dynamic at least:

Which is precisely why Kai aired on three American TV channels.Yomi wrote:Edit: I'm guessing it's because American networks don't like foreign shows.
I'd tow the Kanzenshuu line and say someone between Shueshia and Toei has a particular vision for what they want FUNimation to do that FUNi cannot line up.
