Dragon Ball Super's Biggest Star

Post by NeoKING » Fri Feb 17, 2017 2:02 pm

Up to this point, Dragon Ball Super has more or less met or surpassed everyone's expectations in regards to giving the characters we grew up and fell in love with their moments to shine. From making Future Trunks OP to bringing back
Ultimate Gohan,
fans across the globe have been cheering behind their laptop screens. However, the biggest star in regards to development is none other than ..

Krillin.

As of DBS 76., Krillin's memetic status of being the Kenny of Dragon Ball was given genuine consideration, as his PTSD from being killed all the time has, after 20 years, led to him becoming stronger through mastering Nen and even performing a Reverse Dragon Fist. Thank You Toei, for making one of the longest mainstays in the cast-turned-joke even more awesome than he already was.

But seriously, I think Krillin's big moment in Dragon Ball Super was one of the best things from the show.

Seeing Krillin get some love was nice but Vegeta is definitely the star character so far in the series. We see the results of his character arc that ended with the defeat of Buu with him having become much more of a family man, a way better father and husband than Goku for sure. This takes us into his next character arc that begins in BoG when he finally surpasses Goku without even realizing it at first only for the latter to get back on top soon after. Now his arc is balancing his duties to his family with his goal to surpass Goku. We see it progress with his training and with his decision not to train and instead look after Bulma when she's about to give birth. Will this end with him surpassing Goku? Probably not, but it puts him in the spotlight nonetheless.
"*sarcastically* Yeah, sure, let's go see Yamcha."
