Jiren > Beerus wasn't retconned because it was never a thing to begin with.
Yeah it was. Jiren's entire schtick was that he was the mortal stronger than Gods of Destruction. Whis said Belmod was stronger than Beerus, and Jiren is stronger than Belmod. UI Goku is in the "state of the Gods" and he had "stepped over the state of the Gods."
Jiren was stated to be stronger than a Hakiahsin not all Hakaishin.
Big difference.

But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

So can we confirm that Freeza actually wanted to get taller? I am basically praying at that point that it was a big mistake.

Super carries on much of Dragon Ball and Z's charm in ways that might not immediately be obvious, while also bringing something new to the table. I certainly can't think of any previous arcs like Goku Black, and, for all its problems, the Tournament of Power is possibly the most ambitious storytelling endeavor in series history as far as how its narrative unfolds. It's also a thrill ride, which is all I wanted and exactly what I got. Super also canonizes decades old fan theories in ways that very naturally tie into the overall fabric of Dragon Ball's world in satisfying ways. All in all, Dragon Ball, Z, and Super are all well worth experiencing.
Goegeta most likely doesnt even use a blast like final kamehameha releasinga significant amount of his power. Thats the only reason Vejito defused and because he was fighting an immortal being. Gogeta is fighting someone he is easily stomping
Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).

The manga suggested that the Hakaishins were comparable in power to one another. Belmod was even suggested to be one of the tougher ones, given that he was the only one who didn’t need to be healed by the end of the fight between all of them, while the anime stated that Belmod beat Beerus in an arm wrestling match.
Hell, the manga even suggested that Vegito was stronger than Beerus.

Nope, that's his motivation.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.
How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):
Spoiler:
Absolute Zamasu(my name for their fusion) wins. He fulfils his utopia and dwells in his loneliness(x amount of time for this to happen). He starts to doubt of his achievements, Goku's body influences him to seek out challenges but there's nothing. Perfection becomes a curse. Absolute Zamasu starts to dread his existence and presents himself to the Omni-King, detailing on his actions.
Using his powers the Omni-King restores everything to the moment before Goku and Vegeta perish, humanity's last barrier. Zamasu concedes. He ask for forgiveness(mainly to Goku, Gowasu and Trunks) and understands that his justice isn't justice at all. He asks for judgement and the Omni-King delivers.
Trunks is forced never to travel in time ever again, all the time-machines are destroyed.
• Vegeta did not participate in the war against Tsufuru.
• Vegeta is born in AGE 734 (rather than the old AGE 732) / Vegeta is now two years older than Goku (if you think Goku was born in AGE 736) or three years older (if you think Goku was still born in AGE 737 and Gine rounded it up).
• THERE IS A TARBLE REFERENCE!
We still can't say if the present part does take place in AGE 780 right? Given Bra's hair, some time has passed, but we must have to be in AGE 780 because of the "41 years ago".
• We help! ... Hmm. Always get Autobots out of messes they get into. •

Wow that is infuriating.
So then as far as I can tell:
1. Very little characterization from Broly in this movie
2. Contradicts the anime continuity by not having Kaioken Blue or Blue Evolution.
3. ....and the worst power scaling mistake we have seen outside of the DBS manga in modern Dragon Ball; Base Goku performs better than Super Saiyan God Vegeta.
4. Freeza's motivation is to gain 5 centimeters in height.
I find all 4 of these to be very, very disappointing.

Are Tuffles really mentioned in movie?
"I will concede that your feelings are worthy of the mightiest of Saiyans. However, there is more to my power than just this. Before you die, I will show it to you. This is the difference in power, between the primitive Saiyans and the evolved Tsufruians." ~Baby Vegeta
The same anime had trunks outperform ssb vegito and made it to where ssj2 kefla could one shot ssb vegito which leads people to think Broly is weaker than jiren cause he lost to gogeta

Lmao, I knew the power-scalers were gonna be molten.
If that description on that other forum is legit, I'm a bit disappointed with certain things, but overall it sounds enjoyable enough. I can't wait to see it with my own eyes in the near-ish future.

WHAT???
It is what Geekdom said, and I usually trust him. If it is true it is by far the worst power scaling we have ever seen. Maybe even worse than things we see from GT and Z filler

From the summary posted a bit before, Goku in base and SS forms gets overwhelmed quickly by Broly, only in SSG he does anything.

According to that summary, no.

My man, all Goku had to do was go SSJ3 and shock Vegeta so much the M on his head would have turned into an L and Buu would have never happened.
I hate how they changed Broly by him apparently having no sadistic side at all. This is only a guy that looks and is named like him. No "Legendary Super Saiyajin" named form, no brutal, blood-lusted, sadistic person, nothing of that in sight.
I hope Toei changes that in the TV version at least a bit with some slight alterations that also can keep the new character stuff intact. The "calm, pure" thing fits his old and new "base form" thing but I wish he would at least be the "Legend enjoying being superior and laughing while destroying planets up in the sky" like in the old movies.

"Citation needed."
"too lazy
feel free to take it with grain of salt or discredit me altogether, I'm not losing any sleep"
So they made Broly a friend and Frieza has become pretty much a joke. But hey, at least it looks great. To me this movie sounds pretty much not needed. I hope I am wrong.
Also, lol at Frieza threatening Gogeta... Is he gonna train for 4 months again and then return stronger than Gogeta?
